A dealership (in Hyderabad) told me that it is possible to get it it fitted as an accessory. It must be possible with your dealer too..

With regards to the Gixxer SF can someone who has bought over SnapDeal please respond?... Thanks!

Call up any authorized Showroom, they should be able to help you out with the information you seek.

Dunno about Hornet, but Gixxer SF and FZ-S are great commuters, with FZ-S being cheaper. Between these two if money is not a factor for you, you gotta decide on the looks - faired or not/ color/ design, the power and torque (greater in Gixxer SF), mileage (greater in FZ-S) and finally on the test-ride. However you may have to ask someone who owns a Gixxer SF for a test ride, as the showroom people give only the naked gixxer.

I have seen hornet at a Honda service center, one thing noticeable was the wide pillion seat. It looks good too.

I would suggest the Gixxer SF. You might wanna consider waiting for a the Gixxer 250 version too, should be available by March or April end,

Hey man , well I have got no concrete sources! I was speaking to the Showroom owner. He said there's a possibility that the a 250cc upgrade of Gixxer sf will be showcased at the Auto expo in Feb and that, if that's the case then, bookings should start by Feb end followed by deliveries with a waiting period of a month and half to 2 months.

It's stylish and has decent amount of low end torque to accelerate but pillion seat is not comfortable and to an extend even the rider seat.
I had a Honda, they are best in class for build quality, engine refinement. I own a Yamaha and suzuki. Suzuki has a lot to learn from yamaha and honda, build quality is not good, I must tell you if you going for gixxer sf make sure the fairing is aligned properly with the rest of the body. Insist on checking the bike first before doing the registration. This is my personal experience with the dealership of SUZUKI so I m just alerting you. They will be very nice to you but be cautious.

Please post here. I am waiting for new releases in Feb/Mar and I will also be selling my gixxy then. Hopefully it will be the big sister of SF.

                        One more question guys,
Should I get a full faired sf as my first bike or should I get it's naked counterpart ?
