Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
I have been using it for the last two months... Rated 60/55w. It is higher than the stock 35w, but this is better than stock. I have also changed the pilot lamp to 5w LED.Originally posted by de.das.dude View Post

I bought the black without waiting. Moto GP edition has a waiting of 1-2 months depending on location. I live in Thrissur, Kerala

Got Moto GP off the shelf. Depends on where you live. The showroom i bought from sells 120 bikes a month so they keep stock.Originally posted by biker123 View PostGuys, Is Gixxer SF available off the shelf now or still there is waiting? The price is outdated. Add 2k more.

Bought Suzuki MotoGP Helmet
Quite heavy but well built... looks awesome with bike... 100% washable... Good deal in Rs.2200/-
Getting some weird noise under rear seat mostly near the chain cover... its comes 4-5 times continuously and then disappears... depending upon the road condition... i guess due to suspension... the chain cover is touching the chain... i tried this with bike on main stand... ran the bike and touched cover to chain... got exactly similar noise... i have also observed that chain cover is bent a little bit and quite close to chain which is not the case with other gixxers.. told this to service center... but they are saying its not possible that chain cover will touch chain... not sure what to do as i am facing this issue for 1-2 months... is anyone facing similar issue... ?Last edited by sagar.sutar; 12-22-2015, 05:00 PM.

Sorry to break your bubble. This (or such) helmet is no good. Get a better full face helmet if you love your head.Originally posted by sagar.sutar View PostBought Suzuki MotoGP Helmet

Design. It's a motocross design. It's meant (originally) to take falls on mud/loose soil.Originally posted by Motomonster View PostPardon my ignorance, can you please elaborate why it is not safe .is it a problem with design or quality.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Tested Suzui Gixxer today. Showroom was unwilling to offer SF for test rides. The thing pulls like a freight train even on lower gears. Bought a smile on my face. I have been riding a Unicorn from last 6 years & Gixxer seems to be much smoother and feels more powerful that Uni. Only thing i hated during the short test ride was the gear shift. Gear shift feels hard. There is no wait time for Moto GP edition Gixxer SF. On road price in Chennai is 1.02 L now which includes extended warranty, Zero depreciation insurance. Suzuki has collaborated with Snapdeal & offering Gixxer online. If i order online, Insurance is complimentary. Ordering from Snapdeal will cost me almost 2.5k less. 99.5 sounds better than 1L mental barrier.
