Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
yes my bro. you can install the bottom engine cover for protection from bumper . Recently SUZUKI has supplied its cost is less than 1600/~ and its metallic.Originally posted by Hitesh100 View PostCan any one tell If the bottom engine plastic cover(just like the Apache one) can be installed to my naked gixxer as installing the whole faring is out of my budget so i would be happy with the bottom engine faring

you must have cover 1500km or 1st servicing. requesting not to cross over 3500 rpm during this condition. the tool bag has attached under seat. check carefull you will found out.Originally posted by dharsen View PostHi guys,
At first Sorry about my bad English...
On 25 th November I got my Gixxer sf.. After 20 days of waiting... From value motors Bangalore... I didn't get the toolkit
This is my first bike..
Riding with very caution in 40 - 50 kmph range...
Sometimes I couldn't believe im the owner of a bike like this..
Almost everyone asked about the bike and its price in half an hour.. Wn i rode from showroom to my home... I smiled harder... That every owner wants... All thought it is 250cc.... At that time only I felt little hurt to say its only 155cc...
Now I crossed 550 km...
Don't know the exact mileage but I'm sure its not below 40.. Just by randomly calculate between reserve to reserve...
As everyone knows.. The bike is smooooth...
Road grip and suspension is awesome.. I love MRF tyres for its quality and durability..
First I feared to ride at traffic but now im doing it easily...
Need care about mirrors...
Ground clearance is low and my stand touched the ground at very bad road but not often..
Headlight power is not sufficient...
On straight road its moving like a wind... With no vibrations, no effort..
But at slopes it takes breath.... Dont know is it bcz I'm moving at low speed around 40 kmph...
But in handling I'll give 100 out of 100... I'm facing no issues.
Rear break is not that much good... But front break is awesome..
Bike switched off at lower rpm..
Not yet done any long rides...
Few days back my bike get off when going beyond 3000 rpm I got feared and take it to the service centre... There the guy simply removed a cloth under the seat which i put directly over the air filter...
Will share my experience after my first service!!!!
after completing 2 servicing you will feel better milage better tourque ( pulling power at hilly station).
requests to complete free service in authorised dealer.

150cc Motorcycle Sales In October 2015:

I salute your love and thinking power. Both brands are multinationals and are better but you seen that Honda has marketing policy is.....huge advertisements on each paper each free chanel as well as paid chanel. on other side SUZUKI has non one cover these step.
you got my point today's market is attracts customers only on advertisement. That's why SUZUKI sales less products than Honda. I seen in rural customers if one buy SUZUKI products he never can sold or if sold he will buy again the same SUZUKI brand.

My Friend,
If things were as simple as you say they were, guys at Suzuki wouldnt be stupid enough to not implement it. Simply the equation to selling more bikes is not that simple.
And talking about people in rural places buying the same brand, then Honda's sales wouldnt have increased to such an extent in the past couple of years. cause there Hero has been a King and see the rise of Honda vs Hero, you will be astounded how much close Honda has reached to Hero.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Guys
Have attached a horn with the existing horn
It was of hero
Bought it from a local store for 130 rupees and a splitter
It was of 2 amps
And the mechanic attached it with the existing horn
Tremendous boost in sounds
Sounds like a little 4 wheeler
Little effect like dimming when using it with the high beam
But i can bear with it
It recommend to use a relay for safety
Will recommend allLast edited by debargha.kit2; 12-12-2015, 05:19 PM.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Bro I was waiting for the rear disc version since I first heard the news back in Sep. Finally, I gave up waiting for it and booked my SF two days ago. I had a test ride on a friend's Gixxer SF and am convinced that the brakes, both front and rear, are adequate enough.Originally posted by TheActivist View PostAny news on gixxer (155 or sf) with rear disc??
I'm waiting to get an sf with a rear disc..
I'm in the dreaded waiting period now. [emoji12]
