There are still 2 bars left in the fuel indicator. Any ideas how much I am getting? This is in stop and go city traffic. Didn't hit the highways yet and stretch its wings. Just curious about the mileage before the 2nd service which is due next month (I don't want the SVC guys to mess anything up unnecessarily).
Yes the fuel tank capacity is 12ltr (9.6+ Reserve-2.4)
When it hits reserve ,divide the distance covered by 9.6 *or*
better fill up the tank fully again and divide the distance covered by the amt. of fuel filled.
This way you'll find the avg.

Ah! Very similar to the Bolt charger concept! No worries, then!

Got the saddlebags from Let's Gear Up in Bangalore. They're available at a lot of riding gear stores that stock RYNOX products.

        Prices are as follows :-
        1) ViaTerra Raptor - 3,600/-
        2) RYNOX Nomad v2 - 4,899/-

Hey guys, I have run 14k kilometres on my gixxer and I'm starting to feel like the smoothness in engine is starting to go away, is it normal or should I get it checked?

Hey guys I have just completed 380kms(bought on 8th jan 2017) on my gixxer sf carburater version.. I got an average of around 25km only.. service centre guys say it is normal but I doubt it. What do you guys say?

I am following all the run in period guidelines so far never revved the wngine beyond 4000 and used all the gears and rode with varying speeds under 4000 rpms.

That's is not true. Even 250cc+ engines give more than that. My SF gave 50 from the beginning. Please check with another SVC, if this SVC is not helpful.

How do you check your mileage? Do you use the reserve to reserve method?

                  XBHPians...
                  BELIEVE IT OR NOT

Coming back from college my fuel tank got dry completely,It was planned for checking the FUEL EFFICIENCY.

I had Reliance petrol of ₹70 on a 1 litre FROOTI bottle
                  1 Litre fuel costs ₹74.45

My Suzuki Swish 125 did 68.4 kilometers for 70 rupees petrol.

                  Yes no can believe it.

                  68.4 kilometers
                  UNBELIEVABLE figure.

*Speed kept above 30kmph and below 50kmph THROUGHOUT*

                  🔵🔴🔵🔴 *68.4Km per ₹70 Reliance petrol* 🔴🔵🔴🔵

                    Yes reserve to reserve

I refueled the bike 2 times since the. Delivery
                    Refueled 5ltrs on second day
Then refueled it to full after just before reserve

In total around 15 litres of fuel burnt(not taking account of reserve)
My bike will be in reserve once again after a frw kms ans it has clocked only 380kms.

                    i am really worried now.
Will visit another service centre tommorow

Most of the riding was in Delhi traffic, i know delhi traffic is not the best to calculate average but the figures I am getting are still beyond charts of this bike

Yes you are right chain slack was too tight. Went to correct it and it's fine now. Thanks.

Can someone tell from the pic if it's idemitsu or motul oil as svc didn't bill for oil but had to pay offline ₹300 for this oil.

Yeah that does not sound right!
I get 39-43kmpl mileage varying on riding style, I think 35kmpl would be a safe number if it was only city riding unless you're in 1nd and 2nd gear all the time.
Try filling a full tank, reset the trip meter to 0 and ride around for a bit, fill to full again and do the distance travelled/ fuel filled once more. If you still get low figures something is probably wrong (might be the carb setting).

                          Hi!
Cant really make sure of the oil by color.
Motul oil as per my memory was reddish/brown while idemitsu was light yellow in colour.
But the last few times I've made sure that the SVC filled motul oil and it looked the same as the picture you have there.
Idemitsu oil isn't very bad either, but for me the bike just felt a little less refined- slightly more vibes and lower pull when throttled, like I couldn't find all the power at the 4.5k-5k rpm mark.

Thanks a lot will get my tank full tomorrow and will head to another SVC after resetting the trip meter and will refuel it there again.

This will provide a more solid and reliable figure to the SVC guys.
Yeah I also feel something is wrong with carb settings maybe the fuel getting into the engine is too rich.
I also get burning smell after riding for a while but that should be due to oil getting burnt or maybe not?

Thanks for the reply. Mine feels smoother at low rpms. But I feel vibes at higher rpms.

Idemitsu semi synthetic and Motul 3000 15w50 looks identical in color I reckon it must be Idemitsu as that is the one mostly stocked at Suzuki SVC.

Motul by Suzuki mineral oil was red in color when I saw it few months back.

                                Cheers
