    Thanks man.....

Today filled my beast with the new Ecstar FS Engine oil also made adjustment to the tappets and changed the gaskets as there was sign of oil leakage on top of the engine head. Hope everything goes well for long term !!

Didn't you change the gasket for oil leakage ?

Service head told me that, it is a case of bad packaging and loose Allen bolts, as ashwanth said...

Now its fixed... Let's see After two days..... Wat they have done...

And Dnt know why my SVC doesn't even ask about ECSTAR..... Today i harshly told to fill 10W40, else they would have gone for 20W40 as previous service....

Today i went for Valve clearance and oil leakage only but my friend who too owns a sf came with me for oil change so after seeing ecstar i made him the decision for ecstar and later i too changed the engine oil as i was using 20-50 which i used for 1k which gave sluggish acceleration.

And btw i changed the SVC this time because in our city there are nearby 3 ASC .

Reason :- Earlier sc didn't did the job well !!

After going through so much in this thread for Gixxer SF ownership thoughts and doing 2-3 rounds of test drive, finally I own one in the black color variant and a Carb one. I would have loved the white variant but it is no more sold by Suzuki dealership.

The below pic from my trip to Ooty. Made this trip during the break-in time period. The complete trip was done by me between 50-65 kph (as advised by service engineer) and between 3-4k rpm range.

The ride was excellent overall, but the seats broke my comfort during riding constantly over a long period. The engine performed well. Usually for me with helmet on, I can not feel much of the engine grunt if any. But during times when I was riding with the vizer up, I did observe the engine and felt the butter smooth rhythm of the Suzuki engine.

36 hairpins towards OOTY felt very easy due to the nimbleness of the Gixxer SF. At few hairpins I did feel the power delivery is a bit on the lower side and needed a bit of revving to get the power delivered.

Good to have some inputs around where to get a better seat cushioning work done in Bangalore. The default seat is not suitable for long rides and very uncomfortable leading to lower back aches. please let me know.
