Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
This is the price in my country converted into INR to get an idea bro. I know it is quite high but the main reason for that is import tax regulations in SL. Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Guys, is there any recommended kms to use engine oil flush? I have never done a one for my bike but my friend who owns gixxer is planning to try as he is changing oil from semi synthetic to synthetic. He also recommends me to try once to see improvement. My bike has run 19500+ and his bike is around 9500 kms. My question is, is engine oil flush is safe without any damage to engine and if safe, can I try it on every oil drain?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
If you download the MSDS of any engine flush, it would mostly list out paraffin or similar compounds as the main ingredient. Thats nothing but Kerosene or similar refined products.Originally posted by Mustaq View PostGuys, is there any recommended kms to use engine oil flush? 1. Why pay 300 rupees for 200 ml of kerosene?
2. A flush is not required while switching oil types, even if one switches to mineral from FS.
3. Flush might loosen dirt/sludge that might block oil galleys. These galleys are very small.
Don't use any flush - instead opt for regular oil changes.
