My SVC said that it's normal. I didn't bother arguing with them and got it fixed on my own. Turned out that my fork was bent from the factory itself. I'm hoping that it's not the same case for you.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
I've seen that it's a common issue with most gixxers. Many owners haven't noticed it.Originally posted by Gixxer_SS View Post

Thanks Shashank. I also hope this issue is resolved once for all. BTW did you get replacement for the bent fork?Originally posted by Shashank K R View PostI've seen that it's a common issue with most gixxers. Many owners haven't noticed it.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Nope. No amount of arguing shouting mails etc. could convince them to replace it. I even got cheated by them in the name of fork "unbending". I got it fixed at a private garage.Originally posted by Gixxer_SS View PostThanks Shashank. I also hope this issue is resolved once for all. BTW did you get replacement for the bent fork?
In Bengaluru, avoid Aryan Suzuki Domlur/Mahadevapura. Even though I'm friendly with them and stay while servicing, they do things like tightening the chain too much, saying that issues are normal, etc. I've been servicing the bike myself lately.

1. Service record and Owners manualOriginally posted by Johnty View PostHello guys, I am thinking of buying a preowned Gixxer Sf, can you guys please give me some pointers on what are the things that I should check before buying, thanks in advance.
2. Bends and scratches >>> Fork and handlebar alignment
3. Cold start sound inspection up-till completely warm, observe for any smoke from exhaust
4. Chain and Sprocket wear
5. Tyre wear and RIM condition
6. Display console condition
7. Electricals (check all lights) and wiring
8. Lever pulls
All the above points should be done before taking a test ride on the bike.
9. Throttle response
10. Gear shifting and Clutch response
11. Suspension
12. Handling
After test ride:
13. Look for any leakage
14. Rust anywhere
15. Battery and alternator condition
16. All exterior screws and bolts
Take a test ride of the showroom vehicle before test riding the pre-owned SF.For My Gixxer Related videos: Click HERE

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Hello, all I am thinking of getting the sf I hear that the tank is plastic? that magnetic tank bags are out of the question?
Also how have been your experiences with mechanics so far is the bike simple to work on? for reference take the r15 and the apache 180 in the, the former with liquid cooling and precise measurements is horrible to ride if the job is not done right, but the latter with a bit of elbow grease, works.
Also is the oil filter accessable from outside? or does the fairing have to come off?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
With only the racing cdi the bike can't reach that speed. Maybe different sprocket setup and exhaust change can help achieve that speed.Originally posted by Ananth9481 View PostI saw a video in YouTube where the bike did 154kmph with a racing cdi. Is it true?
