Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Thing is their management structure is such that you can't contact Suzuki directly. All complaints are dealt through the dealership itself. The company never gets directly involved as they want to avoid getting it on their brand name. The service center in my case just plainly refused to acknowledge the Steering issue. They checked the Tyre pressure and said everything is fine! I am sure same communication went to Suzuki and the case is closed. Quite simply the Service center and Dealership are fraud and cheats.
I have everything ready for filing a case in Court but presently I don't have the time and patience to follow this for years in court. Also this defect is not measurable you can only feel it while riding. We can't get access to the costly measurement machines present in Manufacturing factories. But if it is proved in court then the bad publicity would make Suzuki brand irreparable in India that I am sure!
Regarding the Front fairing misalignment, they say its within their tolerance range and they don't consider this defect. I am sure this problem is with hundreds of vehicles. It can't be repaired and so Suzuki simply deny it for as long as it can. If you get vehicle replacement also chances are you will get another vehicle with same issue!

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
So I was called by the service centre who are offering to change the front bracket which holds the faring.
I went and examined it and although it looks slightly better, I will feel it won’t be 100% straight.
Has anyone here changed the bracket?

If you think there can be slight improvement then get it replaced and then again raise the issue with Suzuki if it is not 100%.Originally posted by judebrent View PostSo I was called by the service centre who are offering to change the front bracket which holds the faring.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
This is really weird, please just drive it safely to Service center or a trusted mechanic and let them know the issue. My best guess is something might be loose on the bikeOriginally posted by dexterz View PostTo one side mostly . The front feels stiff at random and drags slightly to left. Very rarely the rear feels wobbly like running on flat tyre

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Sure. I told them I’m free only on Sunday so they gave me an appointment at 10am. Said it’ll take 2-3 hours and would be done in front of my eyes for peace of mind. I’ll try and get the service head there whatsapp a pic of the bracket to me today. What angle do you mainly the need? I believe the front main headlight holder welded jointnrihht?Originally posted by Gixxer_SS View PostIs it dragging to one side or both sides?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Yeah I too have discovered that emailing thru Suzuki just reaches the local dealership who responded to me rather than someone from Suzuki which is very disappointing to say the least.
I have 0 faith any dealership will be able to do anything in this matter. I guess I'll try to reach Suzuki twitter at the very least.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Welding (inside red box) is incorrectly done. Your entire brace is still gonna be offset from the central axis.Originally posted by judebrent View PostHere you go! Let me know your thoughts...
