Hello Guys, hope you all are doing great. I've done my 3rd service at 5500 km today (i'm not from india) but matching to indian 3rd service at 11,000 km, I have requested to replace the spark plug.

Anyway this is regarding injector cleaning interval for SF FI variant. I have a german injector cleaning solvent which can be mix to petrol. I was wondering what is the injector cleaning interval for SF FI bikes. Any clues boys.?

    Appreciate your answers.
    Cheers.

So here’s an update after almost a week of riding with the new bracket.

There’s quite a noticeable improvement. If not 100%, I would say 95% aligned as compared to the previous bracket which was around the 95-96 degree mark versus the current one which is around 92 degrees at much. Even while riding the misaligned cosmetic defect is as good as gone unless you really are searching for it. For a first time rider, he wouldn’t even realise something wrong.

So yes the bracket change did help me & hope this feedback helps others as well.

      Cheers and happy riding

I've had my Sf for about 6months now, and here's the things ive been noticing
1.Pain in the palm of my left hand & pain in base of left foot.
        2.bike leaning towards right.
        3. service guys saying its all ok.

what I've checked is that front forks are aligned, tyre pressure as recommended.
How am i supposed to rectify this issue guys. I love to go on rides , but this leaning issue might surely cause me harm someday .

          Hi Guys,
I am from Chennai and I am looking into changing the headlamps of my Gixxer SF to something more illuminating.

          Any suggestions?

Need info on the better headlights to replace and a good mechanic.

I have not changed any parts in my bike all had remained stock till date. Bike has clocked 23000Kms.

im using Phillips extreme vision plus.
good visibility and long throw in the dark.
not much visibility under street lamps.
much better than rtd m02e LED's.
also much better than stock bulb.

Check the rear wheel alignment also to rule out alignment issue

I have noticed vehicle pulling to left hand side on my Gixxer SF. I have attached pic from the front and the front tyre isn't vertical.

Also if you look at the handle bar the left side looks lower than the right

This looks like a front forks fitting issue. Can anyone please guide me how to adjust the front forks DIY. TIA!

Loosen pinch clamps at the top and bottom T plate level the forks and then re-tighten them.

But since you mentioned that your handlebar also seems to be misaligned I suspect that either your T stem or chassis rake is misaligned.

For the top assembly are you suggesting to loosen the pinch clamps or just the main centre bolt? Will it not straighten with just loosening the bottom plate clamps and joincing the front suspension and tightening again?

For the second part of your reply i am assuming you are referring to the chassis frame itself which holds the front steering assembly with the large centre bolt. Yes i am suspecting the issue to be chassis defect itself but i want to check the front fork alignment before concluding that.

That would depend on your motorcycle, in some motorcycles the forks are not bolted into the upper T plate, instead they're just held in place by pinch clamps, so you have to make sure everything is in place every time the forks come off the motorcycle.

Ideally if you're certain that the forks are evenly set up on the top plate then you just need to loosen things down low and let it set before re-tightening.

Yes, the part which the T stem goes through. If by chance the chassis is at fault raise hell and make sure it is replaced under warranty by Suzuki.

Guys recently my bike came up with an accident.. in a bend.. due to lack of traction in rear wheels, the bike skidded.. my saree guard got scratched.. left hand side grab rail bent and scratched.. my left hand side upper front portion of the fairing got scratched.. clutch lever bent..left side handle grip and end grip got torn ... Other than that, there are no problems with the engine to my fortune.. wheels didn't experience any kind of bends.. no fork bend.. it went away with some external damages to my fortune.. my handlebar was little hard towards left hand side but I got that fixed.. how much would it cost to make these repairs ??
