Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Somehow, the front seems odd, IMHO the current generation front fascia looks much better.Originally posted by Ivin View Posthttps://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/40...ml#post1354181
Updates here. No changes in engine. Top speed of +8kmph due to aerodynamics alone , per the Yamaha person. 37mm USD forks, Full digital meter and full LED headlights are new.
LED headlights and full digital console are welcome changes!

To be honest, the older R3 had one of the best looking headlight/nose designs in the market. Yup. Front is odd. Seems like the designers saw an old CBR 1000rr going past them and got inspired suddenly!
No slipper clutch, no VVA is surprising.AweSome is too LesS!

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I was not aware and notified , would have loved to give by bit.
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
Yamaha India could have delayed for 6 months and launched the v2 R3 as it is they were not selling any for good many months, design of the front not too good compared with current design, let's see how long it takes to reach India, would have been good if they could have enlarged cc with hike in power figures to go against N400.Yamaha needs some 600 for R3 owners to upgrade.

They still didn't fix this? Omg! Mine is from one of the first batches, it was pretty common then. Nothing to worry about, the bike is fine functionally. You just can't ride with your hands off.Originally posted by AnuragReddy View PostHello everyone...

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Bike dragging to a particular direction can mean a lot of things right from low tire pressure to tight T stem these both being the prime factors. New bikes sometimes sway to either directions and slacking done to the T stem usually solves the issue, a 2 min job probably. Faulty stem bearing, too can drag the bike to a particular direction but that's for another day.Originally posted by navmurali View PostEven in R15 v3 bike drags left.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Last 2 last weekend I got the time to clean the k&n stock replacement air filter.
It was already around 9k km dirty since last cleanup.(I clean in every 7k kms)
Tools required are exactly what available in your toolkit provided with bike.
4 no Allen Key
Cross slot screw driver.

Bottom side of dirty filter.

Other side of dirty filter.

Recharger Kit.

Applied cleaner on the dirtier side first.

Then on other side until it gets soaked properly.
Let the filter soak properly and let it settle for 10mins.
After that washed under a gentle pressure of running water. Was cautious while letting the water run from top side to bottom side only so that all dirt flows out in one direction.

After cleaning it properly let it dry for around 45-50 mins.

Once the filter was completely dry applied oil on both sides gently.
Applied such that it gets oil on all sides and wiped off extra oil.

After applying I let it settle down for 15-20mins.
In the meantime cleaned the air filter box with microfibre cloth.
Placed the filter in it's placed and voila it improved a little idling and throttle response slightly.
