      R3 costs 4.08L onroad Pune
Ninja 300 costs 3.55L onroad Pune.
So I believe the servicing wouldn't cause a damage of 53K that is invested more in R3.
I'm genuinely asking for feedback having moved away from thinking about RC390/Duke 390.

Ninja moving away from hourly basis service charges is a news to me. Are you sure of it ? Just today morning we were discussing about exorbitant prices of kawasaki spare parts and service costs. I would still think in long term you would end up spending more than 53K for service and spare parts.

For reviews on R3, if you are regular follower of this thread, you will already be knowing. If not, here are a couple of posts you might want to look at -

i must say, you guys are the reason i bought it, after reading almost everyday from past 1 year...yeah... 3 years in the making. Ninja was on top of the list and almost went to book for 2.98 then post service maintenance and yamaha trust being yammi fan, what the heck - went to Pacer Hebbal - paid up, they delivered within a week as they had Blue Beast ready on display. thank you guys for your prompt replies and knowledge sharing. it has helped like so many others.

Some pics...just beginning, right now enjoying every bit of attention and love from family and public...super feeling!

Though the current n300 costs less, but what they have done to bring down the cost is something to be taken into consideration (like brakes, n300 now sourcing from Endurance). And we dont have a clear picture of wherever they have done for the cost cutting and replaced the original spares with local made.
I would say spend for R3 which comes with intentional variant ( not modified for india) .Beside R3 is better in terms of engine performance too.

Yes, No doubt N300 is a reliable machine just as R3 is. Both are same class. both are masterpieces. it boils down to liking, ride feel.

what compelled me to get R3 was the brand(being yami fan )and cost effective maintenance. also ASC nearby my home.

Finally, that butter smoooth engine. of course the elegant look. (no offence to Ninja, its a looker too, but its just not my type

just clocked 250kms on my #BlueBeast, my friend calls "Beast on Beast"

                Hello everyone,

I was considering upgrading the brake lines on my 2018 R3. It seems the non ABS ones don't work out on the ABS model. Any recommendations?

                Thank you

Non abs brake line wont fit abs model. You need Galfer or Spiegler brake lines from aborad abs models. Could be a costly affair though

                    R3 - Black - Mumbai
Got my baby on 17th Aug. Took the delivery directly from the warehouse, because otherwise the dealership assigns a motorman to drive it all the way from warehouse to showroom (30km), which I obviously did not want.

The first drive was a steep learning curve. After reaching showroom, washing/polish/PDI was completed and a temporary number was given with a stamped form against my license.

I completed initial 1000kms in 3 weeks and got the first service done yesterday. After the first service, I immediately took it out on the highway and boy was it worth it!! The real game begins after fourth gear and 6k rpms... the bike just starts flying. I mean, the bike feels a lot smoother towards the top end and the gear shifts come naturally. This is a very forgiving bike, there is a lot of room for minor errors and the bike takes it very easily.

I am getting a mileage of 16 to 18 in Mumbai traffic (I use it for daily commute to my office) and around 22 on the highway. I might take it to Pune next week and record the mileage again.

Till then, attaching a few pictures for initial service and oil change. Oh ya, I also installed Motofusion Radiator guard, Picture attached for that too.

UPDATE: MF contacted on Facebook, responded and agreed to manufacture Black Guard in a week or so. Delay was due to their internal issue.

The Radiator guard from MF was a direct fit? Did you install it yourself? I read somewhere that it is a bit of "work" to make it fit properly. Is that your experience?
And one last thing, as a prospective R3, I would love to take a look at your R3 (no test rides needed ) and speak to F2F when you come down to Pune.
