HDFC might want to press you for passenger insurance also which I think is not required and will increase your EMI slightly. Full body insurance can be provided by the dealers itself and don't confuse it with the HDFC's insurance plan and unknowingly taking that also which happened to me.

4 years is the maximum that they can give.
    8% roi?impossible.
It north of 15-17%.for 4 years I don't think any company gives such roi.
Also if they say 8% take a written confirmation via mail

Well, this is what they told me.
            Rs.1,40,000 down payment
            Loan amount = Rs.2,50,000
            Rs.6,690 * 48 EMIs = 3,21,120
Total amount paid is Rs. 4,61,120. Not bad at all. But I'm yet to receive confirmation. I'm pushing for 3 years term. Let's see. Hope they budge.

8 % is totally possible. U just need to negotiate a little harder. As the cost of bike increases roi declines.

Let me join this discussion. 8% reducing is impossible. Base rate of banks are more. 8% fixed is totally possible. But that is about 16% reducing which is daylight robbery. I suggest you take a loan from a government bank. That way i can tell you its about 10.5 % reducing which is a fantastic rate. Pm me for further info if you need!

                  +1 bro.you read my mind.
I think its floating ROI which eventually costs a bomb.Intact I have seen people taking personal loan by negotiating with 12 % for 3-4 years.atleast we have a foxed roi

My first time doing this ....

So I saw a rider on a Blue R3 on the Shilparamam road today afternoon... had an XBHP sticker on his helmet.

Hollerrr.... as we both were in a mad rush anyways :-P I was the guy in the ridiculously blingy looking FZ. Its so deceivingly normal looking bike (R15ish) until it starts to pull off and vanishes ... Good bike this R3.
When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

8 % reducing rate is almost impossible for any financial institution to offer. This is their general trick to fool customers into beveling that they are receiving best offer in the market. The 8 % is actually flat interest rate but not reducing interest rate. You can ask the loan person about reducing interest rate and see what he has to say then. This is my personal experience I was offered 7 % flat interest rate which then actually came around to 11.9% reducing interest rate.

In the meanwhile you can refer to this link to reverse track your interest rate by the EMI offered and loan amount disbursed.

                      Thanks.

Guys, If im not wrong the R3 comes with MRF Zapper S 140/70-17 66H as stock tyres right? Is Zapper S a radial tyre like the Revz series?
                        Ride Safe!

                        Cheers,

Thanks for the confirmation. I thought so. My bad i couldnt find a 140/70-17 radial tyre with warranty. (Michelin/Pirelli are not worth the buck you spend according to me and they don't come with warranty, had bad experiences with both)

This is the exact rear for the CBR, Michelin is a good quality tyre, and lasts really long, but is slightly priced high, mrf radials are there , in Chennai 110/70-17 n 140/70-17 costs 5200 radial.
