Tried to leave the handlebar while riding yesterday. Did not happen. Went straight.

I did ask for R3 test ride in Sri Yamaha, they said next week or a few days later since they are renovating.

It's life time road tax I guess which is usually charged at around 8-12% of ex-showroom price of the bike..
It's the journey that matters, not the destination.

Took delivery of my blue Yamaha R3 yesterday from Sakhsi Motors, Nerul, Navi-Mumbai.I made sure that I am the one who will ride the bike from warehouse to showroom. While doing so found that bike is swaying to the left when I left my hands from the handlebar. Pointed this issue to Showroom PDI Manager and owner. Issue was resolved to an extent but still pulls to left slightly. Issue according to them was that bike chain was too tight.

Here are some pics of the bike.
Did you check your tire pressure? It could be as simple as low tire pressure, on both the front and left. Considering the tire pressures are right, keep a tab on how the bike behaves. If you still have the swaying issue, check your T stem, see if they are too tight or loose, both can be the culprit and cause swaying.

Enjoy your ride. I hope this issue of yours gets solved with these above steps, hopefully.

              Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

              THE END

Hello hope U all are doing fine. Yesterday took the delivery of R3 Racing Blue color and the bike is awesome. Have a doubt, when i start the ignition and when console gets set, some times getting some noise is it an issue or a normal thing.

Does the noise come when u just turn on the console.if so since its a Fuel injected bike it will come.its like a faint sound (can be compared when you are scanning a page on a multi use printer )

The sound when you turn the key ignition ON with the engine kill switch also ON is normal.

Yes its absolutely normal. It happens every time but the sound is so faint you might miss it.I think it makes a sound due to some sensor.every efi bike makes this noise.....and I love the noise.sound soo futuristic [emoji6]

The sound after you turn the engine kill switch in ON position is called fuel pump priming.

It happens to.build pressure in the fuel lines. This allows the injectors to flow fuel properly.

                              Cheers,
                              Sanjay

I should have mention this before, The Yamaha showroom owner called someone as soon as I reported this issue. The other person on the line asked to check tire pressure. So now I have to make them check the T stem. Haven't ridden my bike for last three days, down with food poisoning .

One thing I noticed about R3, the heat dispersion is poor when compared to Ninja 300. Though this is when stuck in traffic.
Keep your bike in good repair: motorcycle boots are not comfortable for walking.
