Hmmm I'm not sure how Yamaha is in Chennai, but I came across some people facing stalling issues, overheating a bit, but mainly the bike alignment being all wrong n it swaying to one side. Also came across earlier where one of the gentlemen's wheel was damaged by the Yamaha SVC... Its all very patchy, I'd like to get a proper review from the owners preferably Chennai...

Till date, I have just seen 2 R3s in Chennai. Its such a shame as the marketing is so poor for such a great model. Ask your friend about his liking, the 3 of 4 bikes you have mentioned is naked styling. If it is naked styling, then 300 it is.

I will provide my insights in a week's time. I will be taking my friend's R3 for a long test drive.

Ask him also about any issues he faces and how has his ownership n showroom experience been? No news on the mt-03 release?

i would be personally taking it out for a long run. Ill keep you posted and ill ask his option as well.

I have no idea on the mt-03 I read somewhere that they would launch it mid 2016. Not sure if its a reliable source.

Yes I noticed but there is absolutely no news on the BMW, n Yamaha also aren't revealing when the mt03 is slated to hit the showrooms, I noticed thecprice difference between the tnt300 n r3 is around 20k n ninja is 30k more expensive...

The thing is the price difference between the tnt300 n r3 is jus 20-25 k n ninja300 at 30-40k ,issue here is Yamaha or Kawasaki won't offer test rides on the bike.

                        Hello all,

I registered with the forum with my name and I was thinking about this for quiet sometime. Previously Pulsar220F was the username. I'm not sure if I can merge the old posts to this id, even if it can't be done, it's okay.

Price difference between tnt300 and R3 is 19k to be exact. But Ninja300 is no where near. It's 4.11 on road Chennai.
I did ask for R3 test ride in Sri Yamaha, they said next week or a few days later since they are renovating.

                            Hello Guys,

Took delivery of my blue Yamaha R3 yesterday from Sakhsi Motors, Nerul, Navi-Mumbai.I made sure that I am the one who will ride the bike from warehouse to showroom. While doing so found that bike is swaying to the left when I left my hands from the handlebar. Pointed this issue to Showroom PDI Manager and owner. Issue was resolved to an extent but still pulls to left slightly. Issue according to them was that bike chain was too tight.

Here are some pics of the bike.

Sorry, forgot to call you after I took delivery. You know the excitement and party after you took delivery, it makes you forget everything.
