Could it be an electrical fault? Or perhaps ECU related? Do you idle the bike for sometime before starting off? I've heard that idling for a minute gives the ecu some time to Calibrate. I'm currently testing that theory.

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Have done 5k till now, but since last 500kms feel the front disc brake, the earlier bite is missing. Got the brake pads cleaned & slight improvement was there but still missing that sharp bite i used to get earlier. Now not feeling confident of high speed braking in emergency. Pls suggest whether the front brakes can be replaced in warranty? My FZ front disc is much more sharper & responsive thn R3, now.

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi guys, one small question. I have my R15 V1 still with me which honks better than the R3. I'm planning to swap the horns. Does it void warranty? I'm dropping the R3 for first service tomorrow. If it is OK to swap horns, I'll have it done in showroom itself.
Thanks in advance.
Ride safe..
