Try vinayaka in domlur, Bangalore wheels in rajaji nagar or pacer in hebbal.
Yes I went there and they did give me a td

AFAIK No dealer has got TD bikes from Yamaha. They are giving test rides on Customer bikes. So I would suggest any buyer to collect the bike as soon as it is transported to the dealer. Do not wait for the RTO registration number. Park your bike safely in your garage till then.
The way you ride is the way you are..

Sorry for this naive question- Is it possible to take delivery without registration? Without the bike how will the dealer register the bike?Is it possible?
My banker is transferring the amount to dealer account on 3rd Dec. So can i ask the dealer to just deliver the bike to me on 4th or 5th December and then registration can be done afterwards?

There is no legal restriction as far as I know. You can check with your dealer when he goes to the RTO office and make yourself available with the bike at the RTO office and get it registered. However there are practical problems; traffic police will stop you to inquire why you are riding an unregistered vehicle. So you just have to be careful.

In my state ( Chhattisgarh) people take their vehicle deliveries with temporary no. Only ( with sold sticker ) and we don't have to take our vehicles to the RTO, whole procedure is managed by showroom people and registration number is allotted in 2-3 working days and within that period we can ride our vehicles with temporary number plate but after that cops do take action if registration number is not there.

I guess they must be taking impressions of the chassis and engine number on a paper. Anyways i will check with my dealer.

You can take the delivery of the bike without being registered. One can get it temporarily registered or ride around with "For Registration" stuck on the number plate. The latter has kms restricted to 50 or 75 overall before being registered. So, If you want to drive around town with the "For Reg" sticker, make sure you keep your odo on the check always.

The dealer might ask you to bring the vehicle to the RTO for registration later once the paperwork is all in place. As rightly pointed out before, when no TD bikes are available, those jerks at the service station lend the customer bikes for the guy(s) who comes for booking new bike. I myself have seen it in person in Chennai where a N300 was done so and guess what, the bike got crashed and the SVC had to bear the total expense for its repair.

Yes I think they do that and I myself has never visited or took my bike to RTO for registration but I think this rule varies from state to state.

I am on the same boat mate. Just that I have also got N300 to add my confusion.

But you are asking at the wrong thread Here the obvious answer will be R3.

If you want a strict track oriented motorcycle, can compromise on comfort and won't be using it for daily long runs, go for RC390.

If you want a bike that will do it all and still be a lot of fun doing it (and if you dont mind the extra money) go for R3 .

Note: If you are deciding on the RC390, then wait for the 2016 model with ride by wire, better ground clearance and better exhaust. The wait will be worth it.

By the way, got 3M paint protection film put on the lowest parts of the fairing (since these are most susceptible to scratches due to flying stones). Would have put it on the tank also but I just found it too freaking expensive! costed me 1170 bucks even for such a small area. I will be getting the bike detailed and ceramic coating put anyways.

And got Puig R12 frames sliders too. Will be putting them when I get time.

The R3 is a true sportsbike. The riding position is sporty without being overtly so. But don't be mistaken and think its commuterish. Sit on an R3 in the showroom to check out the position.

But if i wish to change the handlebars and make it more sporty , will i be able to do that ? Is the handle bars in R3 replaceable ?
