R3 looks very good. I don't know if N650 is small or R3 is big. :P And that's the old N650R yes?

Yes, it's 2011 or 2012 model(not sure) but size wise I think Ninja is slightly bigger in flesh.Originally posted by Gunslingin_Ridr View PostR3 looks very good. I don't know if N650 is small or R3 is big. :P And that's the old N650R yes?

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I had gone to svc to get my R15 serviced and there saw R3 for the first time. It looks way better in the flesh than it looks in pics.
You all owners are lucky to own one. Ride safe all.
Ride safe and have fun.

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yamaha R3 Dimensions:
L x W x H 82.3 x 28.3 x 44.7 in.
Seat Height30.7 in.
Kawasaki Ninja 650 Dimensions
L x W x H 83.1 x 30.3 x 46.5 in.
Seat Height 31.7 in.
Ninja 300 Dimensions
L x W x H 79.3 x 28.1 x 44 in.
Seat height 30.9 in.
This is why I felt that R3 is almost as long as N650.
And, N300 is a whole 3" shorter than R3!Last edited by Sarvajit; 11-11-2015, 02:44 AM.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

I guess that's rynox optimus m/s .Originally posted by jinxed View Postwhats the name of this rynox bag? Is this the magnetic tank bag?
Optimus m comes with magnets and optimus s comes with suction cups instead of magnets at the bottom.
You can use this bag as back pack and tail bag too.

Both look great, R3 keeping up. Superb...!!!Originally posted by Pulsar220FYes, it's the limited edition Yamaha 50 year anniversary model, only 1000 numbers worldwide(I was told).

When R3 met Ninja 650!!
Today I was lucky again and met a friend who has Ninja 650 and took some pictures. He liked the riding position and the maneuverability of R3.
But years old Ninja still stole the show
Great pics....!!!

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Was searching for a good full protection tank guard. Found this carbon fuel tank pad.

Dunno if something can be sourced locally. With shipping its on the higher side at around 4.5K

Hi, I was also searching for a good tank pad, it's already getting scratches. Yes the price is too much for importing these tank pads from outside.Originally posted by jinxed View PostWas searching for a good full protection tank guard. Found this carbon fuel tank pad.

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I currently have a regular tank pad fitted but I can still see scratches around it due to jacket zippers. So searching for something like the one above providing full protection around that area.Originally posted by Sarvajit View Post

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
It's a very cool looking bike. How is the support from yamaha as it's their first small capacity parallel twin cylinder bike in India? The place you service it at has good mechanics or what? [:Last edited by srinath2494; 11-14-2015, 01:54 PM.
