Ofcourse .Either You can move the clip-ons under the triple clamp or you can flip the clip-ons upside down .
Also you can buy race clip-ons for r3 such as those by Vortex or Woodcraft

Couple of questions for Bangalore R3 owners
            - What is the waiting period for the bike?
            - Where are you getting the bike serviced? Is the service experience up to the mark considering it is a premium offering? I had a R15 for many a year and used to go to Orion to get it serviced but I stopped that once the initial services were done with.

Yes, I am. But that's too short a message to be posted, so, I had to append this.

Congratulations on your booking! Which showroom did you book it from? Did they have ready stock with them?

Keeping my options open If I go in for the R3 or N300, I will have to let go of the CGT even though it is the practical choice (compared to the 300s). If the RC390 rocks my boat, I will keep it along with the CGT. Choices, choices, choices.

I booked it from Vinayak Yamaha, Domlur around a month back, but was busy so couldn't take delivery. I think there is no waiting period. They gave me 2 test drives after booking. Between the R3 and N300 , globally R3 is considered a little better. Even i also feel so.But then its like choosing one eye over another.
RC390 is something else my friend. Its actually in true sense a crotch rocket. I cant handle that kind of speed and an over enthusiastic motorcycle.I am still not there !!
BTW i love your CGT thread on the other forum. But the way the tyre issue was handled by RE saddened me.Anyways Kudos for having the most comprehensive CGT review on internet !!!

Surprise Surprise. R3 sold 0 Units

October 2015 Premium Motorcycle Sales, Yamaha R3 Clocks 0 Units | MotorBeam | MotorBeam

The article says may be the CKD units imported are all exhausted. Now am feeling paranoid - If the dealer sells me a TD/Demo vehicle. Friends any pointers how to check whether the bike is new and not a demo piece?
