Bangalore - Sirsi - Yellapur - Karwar - Palolem - Mollem - Khanapur - Belgaum - Pune - Indore - Jaipur - Delhi

I did a total of 2976 kms. The motorcycle did very well and I really impressed with it. I did not face any breakdowns, no loose parts, no rattling (except the chain which was tightened in a timely manner), no power loss and engine was running smooth throughout. In the complete road trip I did 80 - 115 kmph as I am not a guy who wants to rip the bike and got a mileage of 33 kmpl. I can convincingly say that this is best touring motorcycle in India. Even the brake problem finished since I got the brake pads changed. Thanks to NAFS motors, Bangalore for this.

I cant say more about the motorcycle as you are best judge now. I am sure this will clear a lot of doubts. Here is some photos from my trip:

Hope you guys enjoyed the photos!

Awesome captures Adhip bhai You are the only one here keeping this thread alive

And it's good to hear that you completed your solo journey without any hassles. The route you took looks perfect.

And yes highway is where mojo shows it's true colors

Hi everyone, i am planning to buy mojo in future, I've some questions, how's the engine refinement , parts cost such as chain sprocket, brake pads etc. Since mojo is a fi bike, does svc clean the fi, how much is the cost of fi cleaning

How is service experience in NCR for Mojo?

Thanks
Hi Prateek,

Thank you! The service experience is decent till now, nothing mind blowing. It is just that to be extra careful, I get everything done in front of me. You can go to Khandelwal Motors, Rama Road or Noida or Patparganj in NCR.

Engine Refinement is good..cost of the spares are ok..i got the chain set changed at 15k which costed me around 2600 INR..front brake pad is expensive 2600 INR and rear brake pad is around 700 INR..for cleaning of the FI you have to specifically tell the mechanic..not sure about this thing..you may want to check this with the dealer..overall it is a good package if you want to tour and it is not much of a city bike (if you opt for the XT). Hope this helps!

Still my and other's wait continues..... Hopefully Mahindra will be made to launch it in 2019 due to regulation implementation.

Hi Guys,

I have been following Mojo for quite a few months now and came across this thread recently. Thanks to you all,many of my questions/doubts have been cleared.
I am waiting for the ABS version if it is not released by Dec then i am planning to go for the XT300 then.

I have a few more questions , so that it would help me make my decision

1) This is going to be my first bike as i have been driving around Activa, is this a good first bike?
2) I haven't had the chance to take the test ride yet and i am 5'5 feet tall so would my feet have trouble touching the ground?
3) Finally, for people who bought the bike recently(esp chennai guys) were there any mahindra exclusive discounts or promotion stuff and if at all we choose the EMI option what colors are available ?

Thanks,
Varun

1) This is going to be my first bike as i have been driving around Activa, is this a good first bike? {Mojo is my first bike too. I ride Aviator for daily commute(since 2013) and use mojo for weekend rides/touring. Two years and counting, so far no issues}
2) I haven't had the chance to take the test ride yet and i am 5'5 feet tall so would my feet have trouble touching the ground? {A friend of mine is 5'4 and he rides without any trouble, depends on an individual. I will suggest you to take a long test ride to make it sure for you.}
3) Finally, for people who bought the bike recently(esp chennai guys) were there any mahindra exclusive discounts or promotion stuff and if at all we choose the EMI option what colors are available ? {though I am not from Chennai but as you mentioned you are planning in Dec, offers may vary at that time. Sometimes freebies include couple of accessories or cash discount on a previous year manufactured bike}

Thanks,

Hey Akash, I am from Mojotribe Pune . There are no Showroom but Demo Test vehicle is made available at your home. Also there are two running Service Centre one at Chinchwad and one at Swargate also one is going to start at Wanowrie, so there is no any issue about the Showroom and SVC at Pune and we are quite happy with it.

My concern is mainly with the post-sales, as Mahindra has not been doing good with their two wheeler business, and many dealerships/service centers are closing as well. Are there any issues faced by current owners regarding services, especially while on long rides ??

Thanks in advance!!
Hello Prateek , SVC is the strongest point of Mahindra Mojo specially in Bengaluru. You can definitely go for it no any issue faced till date , its an awesome machine

Hey Varun,

If you have some experience with biking, as Aaress said a long test ride would provide answers. And mahindra sales team actually encourages long test rides.

Cheers!!

Their website doesn't list Pune as a sales city.
And their marketing team doesn't seem to be doing anything.
I currently own a P220 and while I'm not a speed freak, I do love some good dose of torque because in a country like India, top speeds are as irrelevant as a hand fan in Antarctica.
I don't come under the category of tall and MoJo seat height and contours look like it'll pose a challenge to me.

I am planning to buy a bike. Budget is 2 lakhs. Did test ride of Himalayan and Dominar then booked Himalayan ABS. Later I rode Mojo and felt like this is the bike which suits me more so planning to cancel Himalayan for Mojo. As per dealer ABS is going to be launch in a month?? Is that correct? And want to know pillion comfort as I rode BS3 version which have a narrow seat.
Thank you
