Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
2800km with 200ml oil.. That's quite scary. It's better to check oil level before starting for a long ride.Originally posted by [email protected] View PostThanks Kiran..now that I am back in my hometown Delhi..I have went into dormancy state and not going for long rides to the mountains..planning something in December and will post more pictures here..
@All: Just to give you guys an update during the 4th service (24k kms) of Mojo only 200 ml oil came out of the engine which was a shock to me and the mechanic...either the service guys at Synergy Mahindra, did not change the oil (most likely the case) or oil got burnt during the ride, which normally does not happen..my mistake was that I didn't check and trusted them..i did 2800 kms with the older oil and still the bike ran smoothly...anyways the mechanic here changed the oil (Motul 7100 10W50), told me to ride it for 1000 kms and asked me to get the oil level checked again..I got it checked today and to my relief it has not depleted...which means oil was never changed in the 3rd service at 18k kms...in Bangalore most of service centers will tell you that we will give the bike in the evening even if you are the first one to reach, so you are left with no choice...here in Delhi I get my bike serviced in front of me..don't ever leave you bike with these service center..whatever work needs to be done..get it done in front of yourself...else get it done from a local mechanic...
If no other option and svc insists to get bike in the evening, check then and there itself. In my case, once svc guys forgot to tighten engine oil drain bolt and after reaching home I saw oil seeping through it. Fixed it myself. Since then I always do these checks at svc itself. One should never rely on them totally.
Waiting for your Dec update :-)Saludos,

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Just curious... Have mahindra got so busy with Jawa that they forgot that they were supposed to give ABS to mojo?
Now that RE have taken the competition way ahead with the twins and that too at THAT price... Getting a feeling that mojo will loose out.
It would be sad to see that happening [emoji24]

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Mojo is losing sale numbers like flies, from last 3 months combining both models sales haven't crossed 100 units. Only 12 bikes sold for the entire month of October in entire India is really bad and not confident inspiring for new buyers. They need to refresh the bike with ABS with updates to gain some market share numbers.Originally posted by OCTO View PostJust curious... Mojo competitors are having atleast average 500 units per month! Where as including both models Mojo hasn't crossed 500 units for this entire year starting from Jan '18!

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
This is most frustrating part of Mahindra...the bike is a gem and they haven't invested in marketing at all...how will the bike sell if people don't even know about it? It seems Mahindra does not care..plus if in case they are planning to launch the ABS variant, then also they will not sell because people are not aware of the motorcycle....Originally posted by kiran2508 View PostMojo is losing sale numbers like flies, from last 3 months combining both models sales haven't crossed 100 units. Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
I think mahindra will discontinue mojo , and concentrate on jawa, i think they've realized that they can't compete with bajaj+ ktm alliance in it's modern avatar, hence they've focussed on modern classics like jawa. Sadly good motorcycles sells very less.Originally posted by kiran2508 View PostMojo is losing sale numbers like flies, from last 3 months combining both models sales haven't crossed 100 units. They have too many things on their plate to concentrate properly on one single thing and trying too hard I feel.
Trying to revive 3 motorcycle brands in India from Jawa, BSA, Peugeot all using re-using Mojo engines, they exited from Moto3 and they are also experimenting with electric Mojo. Seriously how many sub-brands can R&D and marketing team handle simultaneously.
It will too bad if Mojo is discontinued, after 5+ years of development. Instead they should give a refresh with minor design change and add ABS, market it well in metro cities.Bajaj SuperFE 150 - Forever in my heart

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yes it could be incorrect for UT or UT and XT are both combined and showed in Mojo row or the stock could be from Feb 2018.Originally posted by Vishwa_98 View PostThis data is incorrect, I have seen few new UT owners who purchased the bike in last 2 months has been added to the Owners Whats app groupBajaj SuperFE 150 - Forever in my heart

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Introduction of ABS, little bit marketing and rethink on price of the bike is what is needed.
People who know what/how the bike is, will still buy with the current price.
But Mahindra wont be able to lure new customers who still think ki RE is the only "metal" big bike which is worth waiting for months and compromise on poor quality in almost everything in the name of retro charm bike.
The 650 Twins are bangon at price, quality and power. For now *

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Dear All,
To make this thread more colorful and posting some photos from my recent trip to Gangotri via Uttarkashi and Harsil valley after a long break from Bangalore to Delhi ride. It was an amazing experience and the bike did really well on bad patches. I did not face any issues except loose chain. I will be updating my blog by tomorrow which will be more detailed. Travelling by my motorcycle is like a drug for me. If I don't consume it, I become restless!

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
I've never really considered a Mojo but off late i've been thinking of buying it as a first bike as a 2nd hand as i would be upgrading to a higher capacity motorcycle. I will be mostly touring. Do you think it is a good idea to look at 2nd hand ones? How has the reliability been so far? I live in Pune so owners from Pune I would like to hear about the aftersales experience. Btw what make are the USD forks?

Personally, I think you should not go for a 2nd hand motorcycle. Save up some money and buy a new motorcycle.Originally posted by Abhishekilke View PostI've never really considered a Mojo but off late i've been thinking of buying it as a first bike as a 2nd hand as i would be upgrading to a higher capacity motorcycle. Since your requirement is only touring..Mojo is the best option because it is comfortable, 21 liters fuel tank will give you a good range of 550 kms, it has a very strong built, no rattling sounds except from the chain, the engine is smooth, torque is very good to pull you out from sticky situations.
Solum Automobiles is one of service center in Pune which I know and the other one is somewhere near Nigdi but not sure if they attend Mojo.
The USD forks are manufactured by some Italian company, I forgot the name.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
The thing is i am still not in a position that i can afford a new bike as i am still 20, my father will be funding it so i was looking at either a pre-owned Dominar or the Mojo and as i am 6'2 and heavy built the Mojo will suit me better, just that the Mojo doesn't have ABS is a big deterrent for me.Originally posted by [email protected] View PostPersonally, I think you should not go for a 2nd hand motorcycle.
