Anyone here in Kolkata knows a mechanic who services R15 bikes like it was their own. Replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Can anybody suggest me chain replacement for R15S. Is there any X ring chain available. Stock chain is still running strong @58K kms.

Fixed New Rolon chain with sprockets, sprocket bearing and cush rubber. unfortunately i couldnt able to rivet it so bought fz chain link and fitted. Bike is a pleasure to ride now. Pretty happy with my work. Also replaced the both throttle cables which was a nightmare. Also upgraded the lights to projectors. These are okaish and light up the road decently. Only one projector is working now as I have to do the wiring harness for the projectors. With 2 projectors running together its much better.

Revert the indicators to orange. Orange is the standard color and using blue can be confusing. Do take this as a request.

Folks, anyone has a softcopy of the owner's manual for the R15s, would be great if they can share the link or mail me one.

                        TIA

                        Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Bike successfully completed 3 years and 62000 km. Its a delight to own and delight to drive. If i ride in the same pace I might touch 1 lac mark in another 2 years

                              Parts Changed so far:

                              1. RR unit @ 7000 kms
                              2. Front alloy replaced due to pothole it
                              3. Regular oil and filter replacements
                              4. Coolant once and due for flushing
                              5. Front brake pads recurring replacement @ 10k interval. Rear at 30k interval
                              6. Mirrors thrice. it just slips off from the tension nut.
                              7. Tires one set of front and rear
                              8. Tapered roller bearing for T stem
                              9. Infamous clutch cable cut @ every 4000 km. replaced twice and then switch to hydraulic clutch
                              10. Front fork oil change only once.. damn getting lazy to do.
                              11. Chain sprocket replacement @ 58K kms
                              12. Speedo cable

                              Mods done

                              1. Front projector with 3 color led lamp
                              2. Hydraulic clutch
                              3. Front and rear SS braided hose. Front is from pulsar 220.

                              To be done

                              1. Front assembly (T stem greasing, fork Over haul)
                              2. New battery it lost its steam sometime I have to push start the bike
                              3. Rear swing arm greasing
                              4. wiring harness for projector
                              5. Front and rear brake caliper overhaul. Rear gets jammed if i apply brake. So i am avoiding using rear brake.
                              4. New clutch slave as it is leaking dot4 fluid. Sometime I curse myself why i have done this setup but when I get struck in traffic its worth the trouble.
