Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Couple of days before even I got tricked with the Brake oil, I asked many local mechanics... Some said it was empty some said it was alright... Found it skeptical so thought of opening the thing myself, upon opening the oil container found that there is a rubber sealing which got expanded (you can relate with spiral pattern cut from a paper, which can be expanded in 3rd dimension).Originally posted by Venkatesh Prakash View PostHi All
Need a info about the brake oil storage section.
Recently the braking efficiency of the bike has been reduced (I have a CBS varinat) and I tried to have a look at the brake fluid inside.
I found that there is a internal rubber layer within the casing in both oil casing.
But when I noticed another bike in parking lot , I observed that the oil is visible clearly in the oil level indicator at front or rear.
It would be great if anybody who has already had a look inside the oil casing provide inputs.
Solution : Remove the rubber seal, press it from two ends (top and bottom) and you're good to go.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
I'm facing lot of problems recent days... After I got my bike from 2nd free service I'm not completely satisfied with ride quality. I thought it was because of overhauling at the service but strange things happened when I do hard braking. It's like wheels are not aligned in straight. Doing Zig zag- ing when decelerating but sometimes I felt it in accelerating too.. I rushed to ASC and they noticed that handle bar fork was tightened. They freed and the turning was perfect then but zig zag is not completely gone. I went to them again. Then they did adjustment in alignment by visually.. But I felt zigzag when I'm doing hard braking and in corners too.. I went to them to fix it for permanently so they took time and did wheel alignment by machine (they said it actually) and said some dried oil in front disk and it got overhauled.. now actually I'm seeing some improvements in handling and I felt gud when riding straight.. But when I did some hardbraking and sudden turns. Same zig zag thing came again. I think the problem was with CBS brakes.. When I appling foot brake.. I feel the wheels got struck or something riding gets worse after. Later some time ride quality gets better and zig zag vanishing. But again when I do hard braking it'd come back.
Sorry for long post.... 😳
Anybody feel the same.. I thought I'd get some friendly advice here.
Thanks.

As posted by someone in this thread, throttle is better than Motul or any other synthetic oil. Because made by Honda for their own engines. It typically lasts 5k and mineral 2.5k.Originally posted by adityagaur51 View PostGuys has anyone used Honda throttle...??? What's the performance? How long does it last?
