Well bro, I've got a solution, today i lubed my chain with new engine oil, and the vibrations reduced, I've ordered 140 grade gear oil from amazon, it's best for reducing vibrations. Also, i will install handlebar weights from pulsar 220, will update after that.

      Sure do.
But the bike even vibrates in neutral.
Will lubing the chain solve the issue?
I wonder if everyone had this problem in the beginning.

You and i are facing this, another owner of 2018 hornet is happy with the smoothness. But when i asked about vibrations to a 2018 hornet owners in honda svc he also stated that it had vibrations. I will give a link to a video in which a man complianed about harshness in hornets engine. Yes, it vibrates in neutral . I've changed my engine oil to motul 5100, 10w 30 and noticed less strain on engine even after ridung continues with pillion at speeds of 70 to 80kmph.Also in 2nd and 3rd gear acceleration is full of more vibrations.

I think TVS Apache Video is irrelevant here in this thread.

Btw, I’ve been reading couple of posts about how troublesome the Hornet is. Looks like there is lot of negatives being posted here than fixing the cause and branding the bike itself as a bad product.
I’ve been owning Hornet since June 2017 and in past one year four months, I’ve run it for 14K kms. Majority of it within city. And a 1200 kms round trip to coastal Karnataka.
I’m super happy with the bike and its performance as well as economy and refinement.
I’m super happy with the bike and its performance.

I know a guy from a Whatsapp group who sold his bike within a year of buying it. Again reason being not happy with the bike. And I’ve seen him abusing the bike to the core. Why blame the bike if it starts giving you trouble with the rash driving.

I always insist on having proper run in period upto about 2 to 3K kms. And take care of the bike with timely servicing and replacing parts before even it reaches its end of its life cycle.
Honda wouldn’t have sold 2 lakh Hornets in last three years if it was a bad product.

Yes I agree with you digant, few coincidences are
            1. I have the same Mars orange color hornet
            2. Even I bought hornet in June 2017
            3. I rode the bike around 14k same as u

Apart from the low power delivery in low rpm (Infact i got familiar with shifting gears in low RPM, so I don't bother much about low power) , I didn't felt anything bad about hornet...

In short, a best macho highway bike...okayish city (traffic) rider.

Good to hear. There is another happy owner hear in this thread.

I felt city riding is more comfortable than Unicorn (owned it for 11years). And I could easily squeeze thru narrow gap compared to Unicorn.

I strongly believe that if I take care of my bike it will take care of me. Also, Honda replaces premature or defective parts free of cost within a year if there is a valid reason. Again depends on the service center as well.

Actually the outer look and feel of hornet coupled with honda brand name contributed to it's sells. But i am not lying, i am telling the truth it has vibrations, and i did proper run in, timely chain lube, followed proper speed and rpm during run in. Changed engine oil 3 tines within period of 1000 kilometers, so that not a single particle of metal deposits doesn't scratch the piston and cause vibrations, till now i accelerate gently, but all in vain! Now i am planning some desi jugaad to fix them.

Svc here sucks! They don't want to clean the centrifugal filter itself. When complained in honda india they refer to svc which in turn doesn't want to see these minor issues( vibrations according to them is common) as problems.

As the bike length is short, yes it is fun to squeeze through gaps, it's stability is awesome and have good braking as well coupled with very gud riding position along with its beast looks.

Sorry to hear about vibrations, but I didn't felt any vibrations till some 110,120 kmph..
But in low grunt engine produce more sound than pull, That slight vibration I felt, which is negligible...

When hornet was 1st launched i test rode the orange coloured 15.6bhp hornet and that was smooth. That impression gave me the desire to buy it. After that honda decreased power to 15.03 bhp, and now 2018 version gets 14.9 bhp with reduction in torque as well. Even 2018 owners also feel harshness in engine, i spoke to some customers of hornet and they also agreed. Also in heavy traffic sometimes 2nd gear doesn't engage while shifting from 1st gear and stucks in neutral which is very dangerous. Once a truck beside me was about to hit me. Also if try to go above 25kmph in 2nd gear due to emergency in traffic, the motorcycle feels stressed and makes loud noise.

Yes ,that loud noice is there in low grunt, but that can't be considered as vibrations rite. Stucking in between neutral is a thing even am facing, but we have to be concious..

Please raise a repeated complaint with Honda on their helpline. Let’s see how it goes. Or catch hold of a good mechanic out of the worst in that service center, tip him to take care of your bike.

The only suggestion I can provide is, people who are intolerable for less power in low end grunt of hornet, or not satisfied with other features of hornet, you can better switch to its sibling Xblade... Which is having very gud low end performance...
