Thanks buddy, as of now not much on my mind, I haven't heard the other exhaust due to it being out of stock will listen and decide if it's worth it.

Haha, the red eyesore sticker is my company parking sticker [emoji6].

Sure bro... maybe I am wrong however I would hate to see such a beautiful machine live with this defect ... if you look at the distance of the fork from the tyre from the points shown by yellow lines it seems that the gap varies...

Good to know that you are having a great time with H. The crashguard is looking good but I think there is a design flaw. If you drop the bike and if the crashguard take the load and if it bends, the pipe which is very close to engine will get pushed in the engine fins, creating more damage. This may not happen in standstill fall but bit of a speed will give enough momentum which will be transferred to the guard. What expert's think on it?

New clutch cable, clutch plate are some of improvements. I was told in near future there are plans of a 6 gear version so 2017 model is ready for this upgrade and will be called back whenever upgrade is ready. Also this will ABS ready bike so one can fit ABS when released.I happily accepted and booked the vehicle expecting deliver by 1st or 2nd week of March.
One question here has anyone tried fitting the Thunderbird projector lamp to Himalayan? Will it be able to sustain? I think dome size is same so should not be an issue.

That's pretty good news, if true. Is the source fully reliable? Also, any info on FI addition for the 2017 variant?
Btw, when are you getting the bike delivered, and any hike in price compared to 2016 version?

Himalayan owners help me with choosing the bike. I recently sold my P200NS, and looking to get something now in the next 3-4months (sub 2L). Though i prefer fast sports bikes, it wouldn't work out for family trips and longer office commutes (~75kms to&fro). My family loves REs. Me, not so much. But the Himalayan has got me hooked and interested (even though I am not a touring kind, may do 2 long road trips ~300kms per year), and it keeps growing on me as I read more about it.

Now that it has got most issues sorted out, is the Himalayan a good bike for me to pick? Which I would only be using during weekends and once a week for office traversal?? Or should I opt for other options like FZ25 etc.?

As a Himalayan owner who has completed 10k Kms till now, I must say that this is very very good motorcycle( no, I am not die hard RE fan, I just loved Himalayan after TD).I use it for my daily commute of around 40 Kms, I used it for 4000KMs India tour and I use it for my weekends off road track days and it has exceeded all my expectations.I have not faced much issues and whatever were there were taken care by service center guys promptly and efficiently.

Headway motors, Kukatpally, they are proactive and work on promised timeline.
15 days back there was magnetic starter coil failure ( known issue as per service center) and full part was changed free of cost in 2 days(part was ordered from Chennai).

                                Ajeet bhai,

I am not sure whether it has been put in all SC's or not. As I have not seen with my eyes. But yes, they are replacing those parts. I am waiting for the clutch assembly to come to get mine replaced. Will get the other parts checked to see if they need a replacement - especially the stator coil.(don't really want my bike to stop in middle of road).
