    hello all...!!!.A Silent visitor of this thread i was, for a long time. I have been in love with Himalayan since it was launched. Its already august, are there any news on the delivery of the BS4-ified beasts???

        Production was to be started from last week of july and delivery was to be from 1st week of August but due to some further modifications ( ???) they are extending it to last week of september, as per the words of regional manager of Northeast when contacted today.

                      Yes changes are mainly for the BS4 norms, other aspects not sure mate we have to wait for the reviews to know more about that.

                        Enquired at showroom in chennai..they had the BS4 himalayan on display..the showroom guy told that they are waiting for the registration of the vehicle on display..once its registered they will allow the vehicle for test drive. he said the test drive would start in a week and delivery would be starting by September first week....the wait is finally over!!!!....hope they ruled out all the issues.

                          Today(12th Aug 2017) I got a call from Himalayan dealer and informed me that,
                          Himalayan BS4 will be releasing on 15th OR 16th August and will be available for test ride.

                            Help me with this fellow owners... Few months back, my ROYAL H stalled unexpectedly. Found out the ignition cable got cut off due to the wiring holder below the handle bar. They fixed it. But noticed again similar issue (see the pictures) now. It seems more like a design issue, so a simple taping might not give a long term fix.

                            Did anyone faced similar issue and had it fixed permanently?

                            Also please help me with maintenance against anti rusting.. my front disc brake is already developing few rust and there are other parts with few rust.
