Mumbai Guys! I've got an RTR 200 Glossy Black Booking at Sakinaka Abhishek TVS. I've paid 5000 as deposit. I wanted to sell my booking off. It's been about a months time already. Maximum one more month waiting period to go. Although I wanted to book the matte colours. I've had a Matte black bike and realized how much it fades over time. Hence glossy black.

If anyone is interested in buying this booking off . Do let me know. Thanks !

Just went to the TVS showroom in Kalyan Nagar bangalore to enquire about the fi/abs variant and to get a test ride.

Didn't get the test ride and as for the fi/abs variant they are peddling the same excuses as before that fi/abs is not yet released.

Don't know what Tvs is waiting for. At this rate the competition will release another product (bajaj 200ns with fi for example) and Tvs will still be exporting every available unit offshore.

I have booked RTR 200 4V - White color with Remora Tyres and ABS. Will be taking delivery on coming Saturday 23Jul. Wanted to know what i have to check to see if it is really ABS equipped. Because have seen the pics of my bike just now but its nowhere written ABS like the RTR 180 with ABS. So want to confirm the same. ABS is new for me so please help.

ABS version is still to be launched. If dealer is saying that the bike has ABS then he is just bluffing. There's an ABS indicator on the panel but guess that's just part of common design for all the versions.

There would be an additional ring on the disc plate
                  Notice the additional black ring?

I am also thinking the same. Dealer is trying to take me for a ride. So i want to reconfirm. Tommorrow i am going to check out the bike in flesh. Let me take a look at it.

Usually, the newer RTRs have a cover for the ABS ring. Make sure you see two wires going out of the calipers.

Thanks for that Pic. This will surely help me in checking for that extra wire. Thanks a lot.

Sorry for the OT here... But do you think all the other manufacturers are providing Fi and Abs on all of their machines. I believe its just a feature to help riders. There are so many bikes running without the abs and Fi. It all depends on the rider. Frankly speaking I do not find the need of an abs on my machine. And for heaven's sake its just a 200 cc mill. I believe the disc brakes will do the job if ridden within the limits. Even abs can't help if you are way beyond the limits. Also it sounds more like tvs is not providing while others are providing at give away prices. I am not a fanboy of any brand but I believe it is easy to speak bad about all the manufacturers.
So I would suggest have patience or look for something that fits your requirement than just having false hopes on something which is yet not a reality. If TVS was really bad, you would not be at this thread. Apologies in advance if I have said something that would have disturbed your piece of mind.
