So when I turn the key on, the parking lights also come on so the parking lights stay on permanently till the key is on. But to do this you will have to cut the wire and make connection.
Understood what you said, but I don't want it that way as I don't want to tamper with the wiring yet. Right now it's happening without any reason and that's the problem

Easily touches 100 kmph, im sure it will touch the indicated 120 kmph, i plan to do that after i finish my first service. Lots of wow s on the road ,perhaps as much as my z800. Approximate FE is 34 kmpl. The negative points are ,very little under seat space,Only a small helmet can be kept inside.

I was wondering why the suspension was set so stiff as to feel bouncy on even slightly uneven roads , the moment you go doubles with a moderately heavy person the scooter transforms into a pleasure to ride ! I also think ( if you read reviews of the SR 850) it's because the bigger cousin had bad reviews of wallowing and most of the suspension travel was taken away when the rider sat on the bike . Btw the fe has gone up a bit to 35.5 which includes regular full open throttle at signals but not exceeding 80 kmph . I have gps so will actually confirm top speed

Thank you & @fernsruben for your advice!

I went this morning to the service centre. Unfortunately, I had unpleasant experience. Firstly to begin with the guy who attended me was reluctant to accept any manufacturing defect.
I had 3 complaints. 1. the wobbling ignition slot. He said I can check all other scooters and verify. He was right. 2. The speedo showed a good 10-15kmph extra. He denied that by saying it is a government set norm and cannot be modified. 3. The right mirror had about 1 cm dimple on the inside which made the view distorted in circle. He said he will replace it if it is approved. Well, he finally changed it after I said I would contact the area manager!!!

Another ugly thing apart from the makeshift washing zone of the service centre was the barely 18 kid who took all scooters on test ride. He rode without helmet, rash!! And dashed the rear guard of another customer's scooter into wall without any remorse!!! My scooter was wiped with dirty cloth as all the wipe marks were visible. All these things have deeply disheartened me.

I hope to find a better service centre or least expecting the same guys to take their efforts to a better level.

Regarding the scooter, I firmly believe all the best adjectives have been already used in previous owner postsLove the scooter. it is simply fabulous!!!!

About the tyre pressure, 2-3 points below what is mentioned in the manual while using Nitrogen will give a smooth ride....

Congrats on your acquisition , i too got but the race edition last Monday . Done 500 km so far . People are seeing stars at red lights , even bikes that are bigger are shocked by the acceleration . FE is between 32- 35.5 kmpl

And regarding suspension , when single it bounces a lot on bad roads , if doubles it soaks all the bad roads

Me too getting the same fuel economy on average. Also as you mentioned, the acceleration is just mind blowing and leaves other motorcyclists jaws dropped.

I have observed same speedo issue, my office road has dopller speedometers installed which shows current speed, as I have observed aprilia speedo shows 5-10km/hr extra.

I have been driving this bike for 5 months or so and yes when you go doubles, ride quality is improved. It becomes more stable on high speeds in doubles mode.
In single mode better try to ride it like a motorbike posture with pillion foot-rest, it makes me more comfortable and stable on bumby road and improper speed brakers.

In the past few days I've noticed a strange issue when acclerating from slow speeds the headlights dim for a few seconds then get bright again, is anyone else having this issue?

Yes. I too observed this. The workshop guys have no clue. The service is even pathetic. I went for 2nd service. They wasted 3 hours and did not even clean the air filter. It has to be cleaned every 1000kms and often if you live in a dusty place.

The oil changes are at every 6000 kms which is really good for a scooter.

The suspension has softened or maybe I have gotten used to it. I now find ways to avoid my riding my dio. This is one beautiful machine.
                              One life to ride....

ID:	1948891Hello everyone. Have gone through all the pages and go e through every post. Finally took the plunge. Already own Bajaj Dominar 400, was thinking of a good Scooter and found Aprilia SR 150. Fell in love with the Scooter instantly. As others are saying I'm not that comfortable with the Suspension, and Engine is quite Vibey.
