Guys Can anyone help with Decode of SR VIN? just want to ensure that the SR 150 allocated to me is of 2017 batch.

Normally the 10th Digit represents the year: - MET0001AAUB0xxxxx - is the one allocated to me.

I checked the Tyres and they are 43rd Week of 2016 made.

Chennai On Road Price as on today without accessories = 78402 INR + 250 INR (For remote RTO charges) "After the festive offer of insurance waive off"

All the Dealers in Chennai quote the same price - No additional discount.

My SR150 Delivery turned out to be an undelightful experience. I refused to take delivery since there where a lot of scratches on the SR. All of these where done during the RTO registration and fixing of accessories. I have asked them to replace all parts with scratches. I will have to write to aprilia if things do not turn out well. If anyone of you have an escalation contact (email address of CEO etc), please PM me the same. Not disclosing the dealership name now.

Guys I found a simple hack to have both of your low beam and high beam on without any modifications to your SR150. Excuse if this has been posted already.
I accidentally discovered this today while doing the PDI. If you carefully place the low beam and high beam toggle switch in between (midpoint between lowbeam and highbeam switch position) then you get both low and high beam working together. A bit tricky but works.

Try it out. I do not know if there will any consequences though.

Hello Guys, I have booked Aprilia 150 SR yesterday. Would anyone be able to confirm if it is BS4 compliant. I know its stated in the user manual but since I don't have one right know a little confirmation would be great.

Also I am not able to find the list of Service centers in Mumbai for SR 150. So can anyone share the same.

                Waiting for a response.

There is a 4 digit number on the side walls. Sometimes succeeded by few alphabets. First two represent the week and secibd two represent the year i.e. 4516 means 45th week of 2016 that will be november 16

Using my aprilia for like 20 days now I kinda feel like the back brake is not up to mark. I know it's a drum brake unlike the disk in front but still even if I pull the back brake almost half it doesn't give much of a feedback. I have to pull it fully to slow down the bike by little. But the front brake gives excellent feedback. Any suggestions?

That's fine...rear brake is weak to avoid lock ups..
Use both brakes together, ull get used to it soon.

I am planning to take SR150 as a possible replacement for my wife's scooty . During the test drive, I observed that the seating position is much higher (almost like a bike). So, I am not sure how difficult it would be for someone who is 5ft 5". I would find that when she does a test drive. Since a short test drive would not give a realistic assessment of long-term comfort, I am looking for feedbacks from any long-term users on the seating position.

I am owning it for 6 months now and hence recommend u to go with Activa access Jupiter etc..
Aprilia is meant and designed to be a sport scooter..it has a stiff suspension setup and ain't comfortable for city..seat is also on taller side.
Overall it's a male-oriented(I don't mean by any way ladies can't ride it) scooter so has a bike like riding posture..
P.s Ull have occasional backaches after riding it for 20-30+ mins though a small break will provide relief.
If you r touching very high speeds or are agressive rider then only for aprilia..else Vespa would be a better choice..
                                Hope this helps you[emoji2] [emoji2]
