    1. I am 6ft tall. Can the vehicle fit me and another pillion comfortably for rides that last atleast an hour or so? The seat (atleast pillion side) looked a bit on the smaller side.
    2. I found a lot of vibration on the handlebar in idle state. Any workaround for this?
    3. The sound from the engine/exhaust seemed really loud (compared to an activa). Is such a behaviour isolated to the test vehicle or do all vehicles have the same problem?
    4. Is the sticker number plate on the front side okay from a legal standpoint?
    5. Are helmet locks available in the market? I heard that the lock can be inserted in the grab rail. Please correct me if I am wrong.
    6. I suffer from mild back pain now and then. I'm used to driving an activa and I'm not a big fan of its suspension. Are stiff suspensions on the SR150 better than an Activa's suspension? Is the suspension adjustable (if I find it too stiff)?
    7. I got a quote of 83.5K (excluding accessories) from a dealership in Bangalore. Anyone got a better price recently in Bangalore?

    Thanks!
    1. Compare to other mopeds SR150 will have better hight. Long duration drive can be possible comfortably on highway.
    2. Vibrations will persist on idle state and low speeds, if you hold brakes while waiting on signal or while standstill vibrations will be felt more. Release brakes if road is not slope and vibrations will disappear.
    3. Sound is madness, its like for KTM bikes. But if you follow speed and acceleration curve, sound will be least.
    4. I have seen only stickers, stickers only look good, but I guess plate can also be fixed. Here in pune front sticker is not an issue at all.
    5. Grab rails can be used for helmetlock purpose with various locksystems available in market.
    6. For me intitially lowerback and tail bone were hurting alot. I learned to go slow on bumps and stony roads. Little bad quality of speedbraker and you will feel jerk on back. If you buy it for highway run, suspensions are super. City run ok. Villages road strict no no.
    7. Also check for new Aprilia moped coming up this month before you make decision.

    All the best

      Thanks for your feedback.

As you rightly suggested I will wait a few days for the Aprilia moped to be released. If it takes too long, probably will end up purchasing the SR 150.

          Cool, bike is fun.

Ladys footrest is not an accessorie with scooter yet. You can try customised guards to fit on bike.
I have enquired to service guys several times about side guards they will have standard response that it may come. If they design some type of side guards, footrest can be attached to it.

Hey.. So. Far no footrest. Simply cause the bike is not really designed for family convenience. Try sitting side ways and check the convenience. It's not only inconvenient but unsafe too cause of the posture.. Height..and design.... Best to take passengers sitting legs apart...

Oh... Well... If ur looking for a scooter replacement for a geared bike.. Then the SR is what you should buy. If ur looking for height.. Stance.. Sporting looks... Great cornering... Good pickup and highway speeds...no sways with strong winds.... And an Italian name... The SR is yours to buy...

If u wanna avoid bad back aches on long rides or bumpy rides.....or wanna make it a family bike to carry tripsies.... Or carry a cylinder... Or lots of veggies in the boot...or if u want to have great mileage above 36kmpl..... The SR is not yours to buy...

.... Never the less... It's the only one of its kind in India at the moment.. The ride is exhilarating and mind blowing. But it's aimed at a specific target group... I've met middle aged and female buyers at the dealership who bought the bike cause of the height... But later on complain of back pain and inconvenience....

PS... The bike isn't really designed for convenience and comfort. They've skipped the gimmicks.. And just given a simple bike which does the job of being a scooter on steroids ...

The price of a new dio is 58k and new activa is 62, and aprilla is around 77, the price justifies the performance but wat Bout reliability, I'm just looking for a alternative to my CBR 250 , which is use for everything... Once I put on a power commander and filter, will only be using on night/long rides, I had a short test ride, really liked the pick up and passing power also the front disc, but ive heard the front tyre size is not right, not sure tho, owners please gimme your take On the scooter soo far?

I usually find front forks sounding irritatingly for immproper speedbrakers, It may be because of front tyre size. I really have to go slow on speedbrakers on which other geared bikes cross with little speed. Also i need to care for my back, since back shocks are on harder side, so always slow on speedbraker.
But front tyre is so appealing visually, thats the one reason I went for this bike.
Try test ride on some speedbrakers and stony roads, you will know whether bike is for you or not.
Otherwise bike is really as someone said here 'scooter on steroids'. Will never disappoint you on highway.

                            Hi Guys,

I am not sure whether this is relevent question in this place. But I am sure I will get responce quick here

My sr150 registration with RTO has been done by Vespa dealer itself. Dealer has given me number plate, RTO receipt of road tax.
From where do I need to get RC book for it since I have no document stating number plate is assigned to so and so person or so and so vehicle.

                            Thanks in advance

Hey... The RC book has to be handed over to you by the dealership themselves. It usually takes a week or two or maybe even a month for the RTO to print the book. The dealership is supposed to collect it from the RTO on your behalf and you from them.

Over here in Goa we have started Smart Cards. The RC is no more a printed book but looks similar to a Petro card with a chip and basic details printed on it.

Never the less. Keep the receipt safe. Photocopy and keep one copy at home. The other should be carried in the bike along with insurance docs.

The design of the scooter is a time tested one. It dates back many years right from the typhoon.... To the City Sport... To the SR Motard range....

The wide and big front tires help in better traction and bigger rotations. They're also perfect for cornering and quick turns and escapes. Dodging with this vehicle is a charm.

This bike is surely designed for the likes of owners of... CBRs... R15s... RS200s... Who have occasional bread and anda runs to the market and find geared machines a pain. So u don't lose the sporting appeal and u have that bit of convenience.

Though halt!🖖 As mentioned by many... Don't even think of using it for cylinders and perching women on sarees Sideways. Not only is it improper... Un stylish... But the most unsafe way of riding this vehicle.

Use if for pure solo... Or sporty pilion rides. Perfect for cities. Drastic for potholes.

                                Stay safe! ✌️
