The stickers comes off easily, but the residue stays. To remove the residue you just need petrol, a cloth. I used shampoo too as my friend advised, it works well.
After removing the stickers just dip the cloth in petrol and wipe the residue but it takes time, you need more patience.
If you have WD40 you can use that too it helps a lot. Petrol is the easiest and best.

Hello All, I am new to this forum and this is my first query, i do follow a lot of reviews on this site though.

I am now looking to pick a two wheeler for my personal use. Mostly used within the city. I had finalized on YZFR15S until i read the reviews yesterday on SR150.

I need an honest opinion, my requirement as mentioned is a bike for city use (mostly). I am a die hard fan of Yamaha and a previous owner of RD350 HT. May be that is one of the reasons I'm inclined towards R15S. However, I would not mind changing my loyalty if i can find a premium offering like SR150.

After reading through the reviews I am now sure that this is a fun to ride, powerful scoot. The other reason for my inclination towards R15S is the cornering ability and how forgiving the bike is even when you mis-judge at times. Is SR150 too, as good or 80% close to R15S in handling department?

I would like a direct comparision between these to bikes, in terms or handling bad roads (knowing Whitefield Bangalore) and cornering ability, rest i can live with.

      TIA

Utham , to be really honest about the SR 150 the suspension is stiff for city roads.in the city I'm in ,there are horrible potholes and all ,so it's an uncomfortable ride under 40kmph

When you have open roads and smooth tarmac the ride is brilliant, so is the front brakes . If your looking for a bike then you should buy one but to own a scooter is a different experience

As in the handling department, the cornering abilities of the sr150 are underestimated but you should be in the right posture etc for it .

The biggest difference is under braking , the sr150 doesn't have a tank unlike a bike . So quite often you are shifting more of your weight on the handlebar than you want to.
I made the mistake of wearing synthetic track pants to the track day and I was slipping off the seat under braking and wobbling the handle bar mid corner .

The racing experts showed us a riding position I will attach a photo of to do on the sr150 for the TRACK ONLY

        PS - I look like a panda

I like this riding position, it is good for speed riding. Normal day use I find very difficult to cross speedbraker in this type of position.

                Hey guys!

                Just a feedback.
The bike does not go above 100 for me. Have been taking my sr150 on the highways to test the topspeed. Not even once crossed 100.
Is there any changes that are to be made?

                Cheers!

So I'm new here and planned to book one and last week the race version was introduced and can anyone tell what's the main difference apart from the stickering. Also the ex show room price is 65k but on road for the normal sr 150 comes around 83k here in chennai. I might book it in under a week so any suggestions pls.

Price of race version will be more, mileage will be low compare to normal sr150 version.
There will be accelaration enhancement kit available for both the versions to be retrofited.

It will cross over the period of time. For me after 2500km and 2nd service it is running like a rocket.
Also you can try Vpower of shell. It gives little bit good pickup compare to normal petrol.

Hence i installed 35W as mentioned in the manual. But the Crystal Vision provides better light throw than the stock ones.

Its heat is not impacting the reflectors. I had a 2 hours night drive as well, but still no impact.
I am using 55w buld since day 1 and its working fine i have 55w in low and 35w in highbeam

Had a minor fall few days back that caused the left side panel & the rear to get damaged any idea how much it would cost to get these replaced?

You could enquire at the svc... There would be labour costs involved too..
