I got my SR150 delivered on Dec 21st.
I am facing a strange issue. When I tank it up, fuel spills out near center stand.
Now when shared this with the service guy, they say never tank it up.
What happens is fuel spills out through breather pipe of tank. So technically its a design flaw.
As fuel into hot engine is a disaster ready to happen. It can occur with anyone.

I dont know now whether to keep the bike or sell it off and get something better.
    It's nothing to worry about.

It's good that the tank spills when overfull. The SR is pretty much a tried and tested platform for years. Breather pipes are routed for the same reason in scooters.

So enjoy ur ride and don't have second thoughts. Maintain it well as per the manual.

Ul find a pipe over there. It's been snugly clipped to the frame. No worries ....

There is one more thing which is bothering me as my whole city is dug up for renovation with concrete roads and metro , most roads have surprise potholes and speed breakers. Surprise because they appear overnight and when I go over them with speeds in excess of 50~60kph the front tire bottoms out and so does the suspension. The thud on the rim aches my heart. I avoid the ones I see and I have to slow down to less than 20kph to go over them safely. Interestingly same potholes and speed breakers have no such effect on my dio. I have concluded that a low profile soft compound tire is a culprit. I tried going uptp 35 psi in front but got same results. Anybody else facing this issue? I am searching for a high profile tire now but to no avail. The stock OEM Vee Rubber has it in Thailand.
        One life to ride....

Manual of bike mentions it front 29psi and back 32psi, and back pressure can be increased if you carry pillion rider. When I go with high pressure I feel lots of bumps and as tyre air goes off I feel those bumps brakers less and less.

Is there any difference if I buy Aprilia from local dealer insted of authorized dealer? The price difference is almost 3k ?

In fact it is so long it is scraping the road!

You can see it in all the snaps on the page including this

I wonder whether that is the fuel overflow pipe or the battery fluid (acid) overflow pipe!
It should be the battery breather pipe.

The day pricing was announced rushed to the MOTOPLEX showroom and booked it.. The day call for making payment was received, bunked office to accommodate the payment formality... bugged the sales person beyond limit.. And now she's here..

The striking looks and performance to match with, this SR 150 is worthy of all the praise it has got all along.. Experienced it first hand while taking delivery and riding back home.. Throughout the roads, the signals in Society.. Definitely happy and overjoyed for this purchase... SR150 should be best bet for Highway in gearless bike.
For daily commute bike is not best but good since average will be nearby 35, but performance will never disappoint you.
Spares should be available since Vespa have some hold in market now. In city like Pune where bike is a must have, service centres are good. Should be same with Chennai.

Anyone managed to fit it an additional Foot rest for the Pillion ?

I'm 6'2" and ergonomically - the existing foot pegs seem to in be a mid point between Rider and Pillion.

Any suggestions / photos of custom foot rests done on a Aprilia SR150?
