Well, read again. No spoon feeding for personal decision. Go take a test ride. And read the forums again. If still not satisfied, take another test ride.Originally posted by ROMANRE View PostThat's why I'm confused

Idling, get it tuned. The start issue is pretty expected, the battery isn't really that great. Get an Amaron dry cell and change the spark plug. But it's a scooter at the end of the day.Originally posted by firouzhaider View PostI am facing the same issue for last 1 year and nobody was able to fix it.. always have to kick start whenever there is gap greater than 10 hours between two rides.

Scratches is part of the service. Check the manual, the service chart, the brochure. You'll find "we offer an array of free scratches, no conditions apply. Variety of shapes and sizes like never before.".Originally posted by Pinak-the stunner View PostA quick update... I got the air filter cleaned yesterday. It wasn't dusty. However I tried to trace the point from where the air actually enters. It's a round plastic pipe which starts somewhere from the front side. Somewhere near the horn area. Due to the covered space the actual opening could not be reached. I wanted to locate it coz I wanted to make sure the opening is clear and not clogged by any means.
Well.. The problem still remains unresolved. In the process, the air filter cover got some ugly scratches because the svc guy was having a tough time removing it due to the perimeter frame and footrest.Ride responsibly. You only have one life!

Well said....Originally posted by fernsruben View PostScratches is part of the service. Check the manual, the service chart, the brochure. You'll find "we offer an array of free scratches, no conditions apply. Variety of shapes and sizes like never before.".
Anyways all these days I tried to reproduce the issue more frequently. A close observation revealed that if I keep the speed under 40 then absolutely no problem at all. The moment I exceed 40 .. Maybe to 45, and then decelerate and then again try to accelerate the issue appears. The lag is felt as if the bike doesn't do the gear change. Don't know whats happening?
Can it be a cvt issue?

Activa and all will not give the riding pleasure which Aprilia gives. And all bikes have some or the other issues.
I hope you have the answer

Anybody facing same issue?Had this same problem. The SVC guys figured that it was a problem with the battery. So i got it checked at the Exide battery service centre & they told me that the battery was not retaining the charge and replaced the battery with a dry cell battery free of charge. Since then the bike starts perfectly fine on self start, even after week long gap between start. My suggestion would be to visit the battery SVC and have them chek the battery. ✌Originally posted by firouzhaider View PostI am facing the same issue for last 1 year and nobody was able to fix it.. always have to kick start whenever there is gap greater than 10 hours between two rides.
Let me know how it goes.

Re: Aprilia SR 150 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Does the SR 150 have a wet or dry clutch ?
Is there space under the apron to upgrade to a bigger horn ?
Have those with cold starting issues checked of their idling RPM is set between 1600-1800 and was the problem solved/reduced ?
