Re: Aprilia SR 150 Owners Reviews and Experiences
If the cops in your area aren't strict then yeah why not. I personally have no plate or sticker at all since in my area cops don't bother checking. If they will ask I'll say it didn't come with a plate (which it didn't).Originally posted by Pinak-the stunner View Post

Yes, it depends on the the area you stay in. Here in kolkata, cops are really strict about the number plates and do not allow stickers. It has to be a solid plate.Originally posted by Minisoda View PostIf the cops in your area aren't strict then yeah why not. Looks like u were looted badly Please file a case with ApriliaOriginally posted by Pinak-the stunner View PostNo... It's definitely Motul 8100 Xcess 5w40 FS oil. It was actually a 5 lit can from which they measured 700 ml and poured. The entire can costs around 6.5 k. MRP is slightly higher. They charged me around 1k for the oil.

Yes I agree to it. Here also in jalpaiuri, cops insist for high security number plates. I don't have choice of sticker.Originally posted by rohitghosh View PostYes, it depends on the the area you stay in. I was wondering whether the number plate can be fixed with epoxy adhesive like Araldite. Any ideas please....

I talked with Aprilia Customer Care. They said that any oil of grade 5W40 will do. Brand is not a factor.Originally posted by Rajas Sheth View PostLooks like u were looted badly Please file a case with Aprilia
Regarding the price... They refused to comment anything and asked me to confirm the price with Motul

You can try fixing with epoxy. Local bike repair/modification shops may be able to help you.Originally posted by Pinak-the stunner View PostYes I agree to it. Here also in jalpaiuri, cops insist for high security number plates. I don't have choice of sticker.

I enquired at local RTO today. They won't allow me to take the number plate without getting it fixed and the only way to fix it is to drill. I am worried now.Originally posted by rohitghosh View PostYou can try fixing with epoxy. Local bike repair/modification shops may be able to help you.
They say they will do it nicely. But I am still skeptical.

Dont worry. Even i had to get my number plate drilled down, and did the other guys with the sr 150.Originally posted by Pinak-the stunner View PostI enquired at local RTO today. Get it number plate drilled down below the headlights as i did, or you can drill it along the "sr" logo just above the headlights. It looks much better above the headlights.

Yes, I too feel that fitting it above the headlight looks much better. But I don't know what lies underneath. Shall it not interfere with any electricals or any cable like the choke wire or something?Originally posted by rohitghosh View PostDont worry. No there is nothing inside there. I had to open the front part while fitting the projector lights. I can confirm that no wires or anything is there. Only wires are behind the headlights and nothing above or below it.Originally posted by Pinak-the stunner View PostYes, I too feel that fitting it above the headlight looks much better. That's a great amount of information you passed out. I am now fully assured and will go for fixing the plate above the headlight just slightly above the SR logo so that the logo doesn't hide behind the plate. Thanks a lot for the information and the help.Originally posted by rohitghosh View PostNo there is nothing inside there. I had to open the front part while fitting the projector lights. Re: Aprilia SR 150 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Can someone tell me the cost of the horn button?
My brother left the SR inside a building and the kids there have broken it. I fixed the button back but it doesn't feel solid like it used to. It's wobbling and might come out again. If anyone has any suggestions do tell me.
Cheers.
