Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
It is fz25 with 2 more lights, extra horn and fairing.Originally posted by hd_hardikdesai View PostYess, that's always the option but is there any difference between fz25 n Fazer 250 when compared in terms of handling, maintenance, reliability and cruising speeds or it's just the twin with some extra clothes on? Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hello guys, my bike got a problem. After I ride through heavy traffic for 15-20 minutes ignition getting off when I apply clutch to change gear. This is happening right after the service, (Spark plug changed and rest was normal service changes). Anybody know what the problem would be ?

Either injector, or air filter is clogged. Check both.Originally posted by Richustanly View PostHello guys, my bike got a problem. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Valves Clearance or Tappet Clearance is on the tighter side, get it checked with Yamaha Service Center with good mechanic. Intake 0.10mm & Exhaust 0.20mm I guess. Ensure the measurement to be done using Feeler Gauge only, not by seeing or somewhat other method.Originally posted by JyotishmanS View PostEither injector, or air filter is clogged. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Get it tested at a trusted mechanic for things like valves, electricals, shock absorbers etc. Ride it in the city, the highway, and in the mountains if possible. Ride for atleast 50 kms before coming to a decision. 90k seems to be very good value. At last, try to find out the real reason behind the owner wanting to sell it.Originally posted by Manash Roy View PostHey guys, geeting a used FZ25 for 90k. Run 10000km but the cone set has gone kaput. Test drove the bike and engine seems smooth enough.
Should I get the bike?

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi everybody!
im new on the forum, i have fz25, a wonderful bike!
Im from Colombia and happy to see that in India a lot of people buy this bike.
In my country the bike doesnt have the rear fender so i purchased this one, i have the bike for about 2 months and really like it.
Pros
- Excellent performance
- Great engine
- Good estability
- Nice design
- Feels comfortable
- and other things that i dont remember this moment xD
Contr
- Tappet sound, on my country the service center says the same, its normal
- A little vibrations on 4 to 5 rpm
- and no more
In my country the 80% of fz25 have another sound that its coming from the monoshock and you only hear it when you carry a passenger that its heavy and about 5k rpm, the sound its like two metals scraping, its a rare sound but it happens here and like the tappet sound doesnt affect the functionality of the bike, service center had changed the monoshock and the sound goes away but returns in some point.
despite this, the bike is really great
Sorry for my english i speak spanish jejejeje
some shots of my bike
Love my yamaha Fz25 white :)

Minor vibrations are bound to happen since it is a machine with moving mechanical parts. Enjoy the ride!Originally posted by wilmarvilla View PostThanks
