Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
The app connects my phone to the console, but I seem to have a peculiar issue. The console shows that the call has been accepted when I click the button on the handle bar, but the call actually does not get accepted on my mobile. I have a Oneplus 3T. I am able to disconnect the calls via the handlebar controls. Works fine with other mobiles [emoji31]Originally posted by hamadryad View PostYou have to have that KTM My ride app up and running before you try to connect. First time pairing take a few seconds but after that it's a seamless experience, never had connection issues on Android.

Hi VJ ,Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostSome mild paint chipping happens due to scuffing and with normal wear and tear. If you observe the patch getting bigger, i.e. when you wash and the likes, you can push it under warranty replacement.

Checked with the SVC guys. They suggested going for a warranty claim for changing the clutch casing.
But still I am skeptical of opening up the engine for this problem.
Sorry of it is a noob question.
Can there be any touch up paint jobs to this problem?

Replacing the clutch casing is a 10 min job (it's only the external cover, the clutch basket etc is not touched) and if its getting replaced under warranty consider yourself lucky and get it done..in your presence.Originally posted by ksuresh92 View PostChecked with the SVC guys. Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Replacing the clutch casing is 15 to 20 min job, as the engine oil is required to be drained, and the new cover installed. You can touch up with just about any paint if you don't feel OCD each time you look at that patch or mild tinge of gray can be used to touch up. Nonetheless, it's a harmless replacement procedure, won't hurt either the motorcycle or the owner.Originally posted by ksuresh92 View PostHi VJ ,

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Do any of you face this issue wherein the console says the call has been accepted but it hasn't actually been accepted on the mobile.
I'm running V41 update and it hasn't fixed this.
Any ideas how to get this to work?

Was it working initially for you?Originally posted by ksuresh92 View PostI have faced this. But still running v39.
It used to work fine for me initially. I got the music controls to work and now my guess is that the command to attend call is being interpreted as the command to play music by my mobile.
Not sure how to get this fixed and the SVC guys also haven't a clue. They say that the next update would fix it but I'm not too hopeful.
Any ideas on how to get it working again?

It issue which I faced was intermittent. Sometimes the accept button will not respond calls but just keep on ringing.Originally posted by TheDukester View PostWas it working initially for you?

This used to happen when I receive a call while music playing.
A TFT reflash might help you[emoji4]

I did forget to mention one thing. I was running V39 before this and still had this problem. The upgrade did not help.Originally posted by TheDukester View PostThank you!
Would ask them to do that.
Should I ask them to flash it again?
What does reflashing do in general?
Thanks!!

Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
The recent update version is of v41. Flashing is the process where, an old piece of software is uninstalled and a new upgraded software is installed. IIRC, the Duke 2017 had v38 from factory and the software for the console is progressively being upgraded, and the current version stands at v41. Get your console version checked and upgrade if necessary.Originally posted by TheDukester View PostShould I ask them to flash it again?
