you can custom make something like this for less than a few hundered bucks or buy it (pretty expensive)
Motorcycle Bungee Hooks for Touring KTM Duke 200 / 390 | eBay

these go under the tail, you remove the screws, put this in and put the screw back.
I'll choose the custom route. 1400 is too expensive for that. Max 100 rupees is what I can give.

live long.. live happy.. that's the best revenge that can be served to the people who hate you..

yep, find a lathe shop/metal worker and you can easily get these made. hell maybe buy some huge screw and drill out holes.. and voila !
or you can go a cycle spares shop and buy the lock clamps and fix them too..
or make an L shaped thingy (and use it inverted) and make one hole on it to fix it under the tail and a hole to attach bungee.. one hole on the | side and one on the _ side

Again, this speed was achieved on the Chakan (Bajaj test) track.

              hey guys!!!
Got my bike today,, clocked 70 kms on that.
Everything is fine except the rear brake. It does not feel like it even has a rear brake. Do you people have the same problem??? ,If yes then do help me out..

Most of the weight is in front of the bike so rear brake is not a ideal solution to use!

I am aware of that, but we need the rear atleast in emergency breaking

Old dukes too have the same issue.
In emergency braking it will help to prevent from rear slide but if used alone it won't help.

Everyone had this issue bro.. even i had.. after clocking many kilometers and with continuous use of rear brake.. now i feel like there is a brake in the rear

Still its not as effective as front but it will come handy in emergency..

That could be done intentionally to prevent skidding or fishtailing in case of hard usage of rear brake. Especially since the tyres are super-grippy. Use front:rear 70:30

how good are tires on duke? are they prone to puncture like most soft compound tires?

also how is the grip? are there any jittery moments?

Tires have best grip in wet and dry conditions, yes they are prone to puncture because of being soft compound tires but if one rides sanely these tires can easily last 15-16k kms.

The grips are pretty good.. wet grip is also good.. jittery moments?? not sure.. puncture - never had any touchwood.. don't want also...

but you will get regular cuts that are a couple of mm deep, nothing to worry.. just ride slow on areas with bad roads.. it'll just be fine.. folks did ladakh on the metz and have no complaints..

Also, our chain comes lubricated by some kind of "wax" type of lube.. any idea what that is???? it's been almost 600 KMs and I don't see the lube going off.. will check again tomorrow...
