    all i have seen is big bang bikers video where it was struggling to go past 120 kmph with a pillion. assuming its a 30 bhp bike so it would do it can be misleading.

      Old dukes are raw power, there high-end is awesome.. from the videos the old 390 easily did 177~178kmph where as the the new 390 starts struggling past 160, all because of bs4 I believe. So same goes for 250 as well. Also old bike was about 12kg lighter.

          The vbox results are from Bajaj test track which has shorter straight hence the low speed, where as the above video has a longer straight and might be slight decline. Same as Like the R15's vbox top speed is 131(iirc) where as people have done 145+ in stock.

            The older Duke was jerky hence it seemed more powerful.. both the Dukes are equally powerful. Coming to the top speed, KTM claimed a top speed of 165 in the older Duke.. All the speed beyond that is an error in the spedo..

              If you search Duke 250 top speed in youtube you will get videos of Duke 250 from other countries.
              One of the owner posted in xbhp, D250 does ~120kmph @7500rpm. So this means, it could do more than 140kmph. May be because of wind ( not so aerodynamic?), the bike in videos are not doing much top speed.

                KTM my Ride app is launched on Android play store however it still has some bugs.. Has anyone tried this and been successful?

                  2016 and older DUKE 390 can do 170-180.. ?? seriously?

                      Tried it not successful. Bluetooth gets paired but the app shows "not connected".

                        Hello all, has anyone tried fitting saddle bag or pannier on the 2017 duke, looking for guidance, also want to install the rear luggage box of studds for long rides, has anyone any of these on the duke, want to also buy a rank bag, looking for guidance on all luggage options for duke 2017. Thanks in advance

                          I did. But only if Viaterra. The thing is that the bags sag in a bit. Good thing is that it doesn't touch the silencer and moves along with the silencer in case of bumps.

                          I tried their non magnetic tank bag. It works. But they are designing new tank and saddle bags for the 390 specifically. Hence they told me to wait. Yes they live near my home and I spoke to their whole team and the designer too. So I guess it will be worth the wait. Hopefully it's ready by the riding season starts.

                          The problem that I faced with the new 390 is that we don't have many hooks on the rear part of the bike to "hook" on the bungees to. Maybe some custom fabricated hook is required.

                          We are discussing the same in this group.

                                there is a very simple trick to add 'hooks' atleast on the old dukes.. i haven't inspected the new 390 in detail but i think it can be done that also.
                                you can custom make something like this for less than a few hundered bucks or buy it (pretty expensive)

                                these go under the tail, you remove the screws, put this in and put the screw back.
