the bikes manual will prescribe you to lube it also but that will be an un-necessasry thing, will attract grime and dust which will turn into sludge...
but that depends on the user too if he wants to be extra carefull about lubng his chain but that will call for frequent cleaning and relubing of the chain that equates to large volumes of sales of these products....

it's been 500kms since i've been running with no lubing and cleaning and my chain is running like dream, much more freely than the lubed chains.

Vibrations will be Very High ,if I am right?

BTW ,I am fed up with the helping hands who tune My Bike for Mileage.Knocking sound occurs many times. But,I am not sure to tune fuel screw properly either.

@rennycornelius:Can I make the Fuel Screw to default settings(some 4.75 turns IIRC what I read here.) ?

Will Someone Please Tell what is the default turns of the Fuel Screw ?Can I Adjust the Screw to Default setting?

Do not fiddle with the settings until and unless you know what you are doing. It's really difficult to bring the bike back to the factory setting.

Try to approach senior technician of the service center who might help you out.

I did 125kph but I'm sure the bike can go 3 or 4kph more, the tank was full and I'm 65kgs, wearing several layers of clothes like a marshmellow, leaning on tank, and also had a backpack. Maybe the backpack robbed me of a few extra kph by acting like a small parachute But I only got a 5.9sec 0 to 60 timer. I suck when it comes to hard acceleraton, that and when its offroad. I don't know why but I always have scary moments when its offroad.

dont disturb the settings by yourself unless you know how to do it, cuz most of the time we forget how much we have turned and that plays havoc to the mixture....

PS: the original turns of RTR180 is not confirmed here in this thread.

are you not happy with the performance? or you having cold start probs?
