Switch to the 110-section Zapper which currently comes fitted with CB Dazzler. It costs 1820 here in BBSR. This might happen again. And there is a high possibility that it may give up soon. check the connection between exhaust pipe n engine.... the nut will be loose. is there any difference in sound??? do u see slight smoke from front???

Recheck the fasteners..... especially the part which joins the exhaust manifold and the exhaust head.....

Hey just wanted to know,whether the "Racer" comes under warranty or not?
i changed it at 5th free serving today,he charged me ` 260 for that.I argued with the manager for vein.

Also my rear break shoe was charged,but break shoes dont come under warranty i know that.
Only my horn switch was changed,under warranty.

This also happens with RTR 180 console.it happened with me once,when i was riding at 130 kmph.Stopped,to take the reading of top speed,it showed 160......I reset it immidiatly and rode my bike in full speed again,but it has never been repeated ...Originally posted by lijok View PostThe RTR180 and 160, uses the same console, only with diff backlight colour. Now i guess the speedo cable disconnects ,when the bike is rode at its highest speed...
It had happened 4 months back then.never happened again.

woah .. tats cool. . . thanx...btw.. wanted to ask one more thing.. almost 10 days back, my refueled my rtr 180. . i actually had the fuel in a 1l bottle from which i transferred it into my bike's fuel tank... there was a very little bit impurity in the bottle which i did not care about much since i was in a hurry...........now for the past 3-4 days, i feel like the bike has not been returning the expected mileage... my question is , is that impurity posing a problem ?? i am planning to give the bike to the TVS station for a carburettor check.. . . any suggestions on this problem??Originally posted by chicane1879 View PostNops, it won't. 3M engine oil plus - Rs 97.93
Filter comp engine oil - Rs 26.55
TVS Tru4 premium 10w30 engine oil - rs 206.80
Chain lubricant - Rs 8.81
Wax polishing a separate bill for Rs 50.

Hello everyone ,
I got my bike delivered yesterday ....
Will be uploading more pics later on ....
The damn handle is a bit loose as the sales guy told me on the phone ....ill have to go to the service station ......everything is pretty good ...im not going above 3.5 rpm and 50 km is the highest im going ....anything else i should keep in mind ??
