On you tube watch the making of that add...then you will know what it is in real......Actually when the rider urgently brakes purposely..the bike tends to skid...and for a moment the bike tilts towards the lift & was about to fall...but in nick of time..the TVS rider controls the bike by keeping his feet on ground....&&& they had removed this part from that add.... its all slow motion video effects which we see in that add...

Ha ha ha ha ha ha...

                So which bank this time,chicane?..

People avoid private banks..they've a lot of security these days...
Try Oriental bank or Allahabad..They are very trusted banks, over 40 years of trust. ..

On a serious note though,I don't understand why people think TVS bikes costs a bomb to maintain...Yes,there are some issues but Don't they know about the warranty?
If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

                • people.... people.... it is true that TVS tyres are comparitively bad since I too own an RTR 180 and i felt this a lot today while riding in the rain..... . .but one thing is for sure....whatever may be the make of the tyre. . . whatever road condition it is, applying just the rear brake at a good speed will definitely make the tyres skid... no matter what. . . we can't just blame the tyres. . . braking has to be proper ...(especially in wet conditions). . . 70% of the braking action is done by the front brake. . .30% is done by the rear one. . . so while braking ... use both the brake so as to avoid skidding . . . . ride safe!!!

You'd be done with servicing(if it's free) under 300 bucks!

If that's expensive then,no offence, but you are seriously in the wrong thread..

BTW,They just wash the bike, polish it,change engine oil and check whether PASS switch and indicators are working fine or not!..Don't know about the rest of the svc across the country, but here this is the story!

                        • Actual cost of ownership can be estimated only after the warranty period expires. Since the RTR 180 was released some 1 year back everyone is still in their warranty period.

A typical HH/Honda part(majority of them) costs 30-40% higher than that of TVS ones. And both the parts have almost the same longevity.

                            Call it Irony!!
