    FI's exhaust runs without CAT, 160 and 180 have CAT's that blunts the sound, if you want that grunty note remove the CAT from the exhaust, for that you have to cut open it from the behind and re-weld it.

      Here in Mumbai also the showroom guys are quoting 78k along with rto,insurance,accessories and all....they are saying that white colour would cost 1000 bucks more...which is included in that 78k...am purchasing the bike from a sub dealer...coz the place where I stay ...there is no authorised TVS dealer.

      CAT-are you reffering to Catalytic convertor?????

        No its not, u can't see dust particles and scratches on the white colour but u may find them easily on black colour...

          Yeah..it happened with me too some 2 months back..unknowingly at a highway i somehow felt I was at the top gear and was gng at arnd 105kph.suddenly i noticed my tacho is indicating 10.5 rpm and i am struggling to reach 110 km/hr..and then only i shifted to 5th ! ! !..but later it was pretty hard 2 blv that I did that speed@ 4th gear...
          Nothing feels better than to gear up and burn some rubber ! ! !

                • have you guys done teflon coating on your bikes?????Is it worth spending on teflon coating or should I buy myself wax pol and such products??

                      Keep it cool with the bike till 1000kms i.e. dont exceed 4k rpm or 60 kmph
                      keep changing the gears,always start your bike by kick in the morning,no unneccesary use of brake.

                        Hi guys my RTR-180 has run 8895 kms and i need to change the engine oil..
                        can u suggest me which engine oil is good..?
                        and will adding the K N filter decrease my mileage..??
                        Does it cause any harm to the engine when it is removed...??

                          Switch to Motul 5100 10w40 or Motul 300v?


                          Adding K&N wont benefit you until you do upjetting.

                          Removing of air filter will damage your bike's engine as dirt will get through the hole!

                            I would suggest not to change the grade and maintain it i.e 20W-40 as per the specifications of the RTR 180....

                              CASTROL,SHELL,MOBIL 1 of specs - 20W-40
                              U can also go for a semi synthetic of same specs and graduate to a synthetic later..
                              Nothing feels better than to gear up and burn some rubber ! ! !
