    • a big hi to all of u .
well m a newbie here newbie to both XBHP , Biking fraternity and recently joined the premium club of A180 owners .First of all I want to thank all of u guys because i brought apache 180 after reading ur comments and now m in love with this bike I did around 60 kms on second day itself.
though bike is very good no doubt in it but i have few questions in my mind if u could plz help.

1.) there is a little sound from the rear wheel though i can't locate the exact position but i think its from wheel may i know what may be the cause and what action should be taken? should i wait for first service or go to service center ?
2.) I think the plastic parts especially joints like handle are bit quirky now here i wanna ask is this with every one or its just me who feels like this.

all that said one final quest.
how to control the bike under 40 kmph yr. It seems m doing injustice to her power.

congs for you new ride welcome to tribe apache. which colour?
to proper run in you have to control the bike under 50 km till first service
after that you can do any thing which do justice with its power
        till then enjoy its handling

mostly sound come from disk by dust stik on brakepad and make noise while rubbing with disk that only happen after some time but in your case bike is new and done less km cant say any thing

wait till fellow xbhpian comments on this problem
some of them have great knowledge

                • @rajatbhatheja:

                  Welcome

The sound you're hearing is cuz of the debris and dirt trapped in the pads and they're rubbing against the disc, a good blast of water between the pads will solve it.
It may be loose chain too, that's making the noice.

Tappet setting was NEVER an issue with the RTR180, faulty speedo and one way clutch was which is being solved by the TVS in the new lots.

There will be one evrgreen "problem" with the bike and that are the VIBRATIONS, if you can learn to live with them, nothing as enjoying as RTR
