                    @ALL

                    My problem is that my bike is vibrating very much @ high speeds, say, at above 85-90kmph which is absolutely abnormal for an RTR and it feels like its not going to go above 100-110 as it vibrates a lot with much more sound. Also, the pull @ low speeds in all gears is reduced considerably and the roar is also not as it was or it should be. What should be the cause behind this and how to get it corrected? I felt that its the AFR going lean as the bike overheats even with very small rides like 2-3kms. (the idling goes to 2K even with fully depressed clutch which comes down to normal if i keep the bike in the same situation for more than 1-2 minutes) but a friend of mine said that its not just the Tuning which could be responsible for it. That's why, I'm seeking for some help from you people.

                    Hope everybody will make some effort and thanks in advance.

                    • Garry there are Engine fixing bolts near the engine (small) sprocket.Tighten them,apart from the other engine mounting bolts.This should take care of Vibes above 80Kmph.
                      Check the Spark plug center electrode to know your bike's running.The center electrode should be Tan in color.If it is more towards white it is running Lean AFR.This could lead to engine heat,low top end and vibration.Take it to the A.S.S. and get the AFR correct.

                      • 110KM on ODO , getting some minor issues, some times it s difficult to switch to first gear from neutral, it comes back to neutral , this happens only when starting from neutral,no problem while driving(i.e from 2 -> 1) and some times when i change to 5th gear , the RPM needle doesnt rise smoothly from 4k , the needle is shaky !

                          It is a new engine which requires bedding down of different moving parts.Keep your RPM down to 4K with occasional burst ,not more than a minute to 5 K..till 1000 Kms. It is mentioned in your owner's Manual.

                              I also think that is the reason for my bike pulling towards left n for the noise..thnkx... going for the first servicing tomorrow will tell them to check it..

                                Yeah, bro. I fill it from a reliable petrol bunk.

                                And, will it help if i click a pic of spark plug electrod and post it here?

                                Actually, the last time i went to the service centre, the guy himself told me the bike is overheating by just taking a small ride. He told me that he'll rectify it but its still the same. Is it surely a bad tuning case? I mean, some other things which can be tried to get the problem resolved? Actually, now, I m quite worried about my bike and want the problem to be solved in this service. Will go to the service centre ASAP. Today, I'm free but the SVC is closed.
