@sherahrk - use multi-quote bro.. or you can always go back and edit a previous post Makes reading posts easy..

@abhiwar - awaiting your reply... reg: "complete assembly" you mentioned. Is it the grey color part which has the oil drain nut in the middle?
complete assembly mean Drain bolt and triangular shape plate in which we fit bolt ( sorry i dont know teq name ) i will post pisc's as soon as i go home so things will be clear .
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

got it... and wow.. cool.. am excited! Coz I've spoiled the thread on the body... where the drain nut goes (by tightening instead of loosening - upside down changes the feel na.. ). Now need to go to TVS spares and fight with them to bring it down..

BTW, have you changed this thing? Is it easy to do? I mean is there anything that would prevent us from doing it ourselves (with proper tools) ?

Thanks man.Actually I fiddled with it.There are two nut bolts on the cable near the carburretor side where the spring action takes place.I think I overtightened the upper bolt. When I gave full throttle at standstill the throttle just snapped !Also tell me the cost of the same. The local ones cost Rs.120.The shop where I enquired did not have the stock wire. Will have to check at TVS SC.

Any xW40 grade mineral oil should be fine. Motul, Valvoline, Shell, Elf etc etc... . Ask you friend to change the oil from SVC itself. Else later on it could come in the way of any warranty claim (God forbid).

                            • I gave the bike to SVC to get the Camshaft replaced (Issue with a bearing in it acc to Engineer, tik-tik sound at idling) ! Also getting the cone tightened as it was giving a weird thud-sound on rough roads ! Hopefully everything gets fixed and no "new" issues pop up! Atleast the SVC Engineer is knowledgable and he said he would be personally getting the work done !

Also, got some additional info on the ABS 180. He said the Vibration issue is taken care and the bike is more stable than earlier at higher speeds!! He also added that the bike's length is reduced too. I dint counter-check his claim though !
