True. Hope fully the Leh-Manali highway will open by then.
And I hope AMS won't be too much of an issue. I have lived in the hills all my childhood

Excellent advice On my TODO list

Only thing is, before setting out on a long ride (500+), its better to change the oil and filter, depending on how much its been since last change. And when on such "endurance rides" like Leh, the trouble in carrying a reserve can is well worth it...
Yup. Am taking a can of 300v along. Will change in LEH.

Man i just saw (pity so late ) the HD video of your RTR 180 pro tuned by the incredibly talented Joel... Hands down for that man

Way too cool bro, you live in Tvpm, and still got the kit (rode to B'lore right? i can't even imagine that!!!)
Someday i too might have my ride joel'ed....
Its not tuned by Joel. The exhaust and big bore are from Joel. he shipped it to me, and I had them installed in tvm/cochin.
But yeah, i've rode to b'lore once. Will do again..

35 is too much bro. Keep 25/30. Occasional pillions are ok. The main stand will touch speed breakers if you are loaded over the rated capacity of 130kgs!

Don't want to change the grade to xW30. I looked out for 5w40 but was unable to find one. Even the 10w40 is hard enough to find. Looks like xw50 is the most popular as I can find them everywhere of all brands

Try and stiffen the suspension. Maybe you are just running at the soft setting. And 35 does seem too much. The recommended rear tyre pressure is 32 psi with pillion.
But everytime I go out to fill air, I have seen people filling 35 or 40 psi

For solo 25/28 is the best pressure as I rarely have pillion

Hmm... maybe thats because of the fork assembly in my bike. I, once, had an accident and had bent rods which after sorting it out was obviously re-assembled. Could you tell more precisely what they've adjusted there?

In the name of Jugaad, you have a mechanical ABS

Sorry about that, by pro tuned i meant (was dead wrong though) the free flow exhaust and the big bore installation...
Oh my, the kit (the FFE may be) can be shipped here in tvpm and installed ... m so excited!!! After my booklet services are over i would be fitting the FFE At that time i'll need your advice on how to get it done
You know what, i just day dreamed about this happening...
The Apache is ever willing to red line each cog, but the Rider ain't. Enjoy RTR, Safely. Period.

They tightened the bolts which lie below the rtr logo coz the fork assembly was loose and they also tightened the bolts which hold the center console.

Tightening the engine bed bolts is the main reason for the vibe free ride(not completely) and the fork adjustment has just reduced the sound from the center console and the headlight assembly

Anyway, this is what they told me and they did not let me inside the service station while adjusting
If you ride like there's no tomorrow, there won't be.
