    I would ask all my dear fellas to hepl me with this by just checkin their rtr 180's speedo reading[KMPH] ON 4K RPM IN 5TH GEAR. Plzz note tht give the reading when the rpm is exactly on 4k rpm in the last cog.

    Thnxx in advance
    Just checked it for you Mine read exact 55km/hr in 5th gear@4000rpm. Rode on level tarmac.

    P. S. I'am using Joel's FFE. So, it's not a stock reading i presume.
    The Apache is ever willing to red line each cog, but the Rider ain't. Enjoy RTR, Safely. Period.

      Even on FFE the readings of the rpm remains same as on stock.

          • Guys had some engine oil issues so to check the compression ratio went to SVC and they adjusted CO level of my bike too.

            Went for a 700KM trip after that, bike performed great through out the trip. Did some boneshaking offroading(by mistake) for 20+ kms and bike was in 1st and 2nd gear throughout the offroading.

            Since the other guy's bike was in running so in the whole trip I was in the rev range 5k to 6k rpm.

            One of the most amazing highlight of the whole trip is the mileage she return. She retured an amazing mileage of 48.8 kmpl.

            This is the best figure i have extracted from her in my association with her for 2+ years and 33k Kms.

                Here's some difference I felt in the performance.
                - The vibes have reduced to a great extent. Previously they used to occur at > 4000 RPM's and more in the afternoon.
                - Bike starts in the 1st attempt even when the engine is extremely hot.
                - There is a smoothness at higher RPM's. The gear shifting feels smooth.

                feels great
                How many klicks have you done on the odo till now? And is the Shell SS mineral or synthetic?

                • Hi guys,i am going for my RTR'S 3rd Service.Please let me know what are the things to be doneAnd for the past 2-3 days,i am noticing that when the handle turns,the front tyre feels to lose its grip (I had filled the air pressure just a little more-28psi for the front,because i encountered a pot hole and the front tyre felt that it had no air)What might be the problem?

                    Rode a friends Unicorn Dazzler yesterday and its rear suspension was very good...
                    Also i took a close look and felt that RTR's current suspension can be tweaked/adjusted, can some one shed light on what kind of result can be expected through the change?
                    some one?

                    @pranav_salieri:
                    It's not a good habit to cross the red line frequently, especially when you want your bike to last long. If you are not bothered about your bike's life and just want to rip it, then its ok.
                    At least stop doing it in the 3rd gear, i guess 5th gear does lesser damage at that rpm.

                    @Krish
                    When you go for the service, insist that you will stay along with them and look through the process, take the manual with you and check if they are doing all the things in the check list.

                      • These days facing a strange problem. Whenever i cross 3500 rpms, some strange sound comes into picture. looks like this sound is coming from near the handle bars. its like "kirrrrrrrrrrrr". Looked for all the nuts and bolts, they are proper. Is there any other problem here? Do i need to check anything else?

                            Seems like something is loose within the console, get it tightened up! I got this same issue fixed today! I did not even ask the mech what was loose

                              Mod jobs on chassis / suspension is obviously impractical! Designing a bike is a long procedure in which many aspects are taken into picture. Messing up with bike's geometry might have fatal consequences!

                              Yes RTR's ride comfort isnt upto the mark compared to other bikes, but RTR wasnt built for comfort was it? We all know why RTR was built

                              Are you talking about the 5-step alignment? yes u can rotate it, but dont expect a huge change in ride comfort! The more stiffer u make the suspension, the more stable the bike gets (atleast when cornering)!
