I'll post a pic of the skidded portion of the tyre which now looks like a plastic, if you want to see.
The skidded portion is not that damaged. It had skidded right so just the rubber has got a bit brushed. Dats it. Just rub your finger on the tyre u will notice the same effect although the intensity will be less. U will se black rubber just like in the skidded portion

It was acting weird all day yesterday. Awesome roads yet I felt no grip unlike previous rides. The bike was wobbling and giving me a feel as though I was out of contact with the road even while doing just 70 kmph. felt completely strange. The worst part being the curve was a left turn, I was going so steady, once over the sand the front wheel went well. The rear wheel though, it wobbled and I fell to the right(opposite sid0e sliding all the way to the barricade.

The tyre now feels like plastic. Don't know why. ABS couldn't bring sliding to a halt. And I controlled as much as possible and managed to escape with just two bruises.

Dude, you need to remember you are riding in India. Expect the unexpected.!!
I'v come across unmarked speed breakers at the apex of a corner on some MDRs and some cattle being crossed by herders at the apex of corners and lets not forget the well placed cow dung at corners.

Wheel wobbling !! Hmm thats a bit intense. I say check your rear wheel alignment. Get to the service centre. Submit your problems. Lets see what happens. I know the tyres are a bit unsteady but never felt wobbling. I can say during straights the tyres do not maintain line but my corners are good. What are the tyre pressures you keep ?

It was really troublesome yesterday. I had paired up with an r15 guy out of the 4 of us who rode. We were doing 60kmph initially. It was fine. Then 80kmph in one of the most cleanest and well laid bypass roads in my city. there were only mild undulations(I exactly don't know how to describe) but not rough patches, like some small and smooth bumps, not rough ones, again. His r15 was rocksteady and I was feeling if my tyre was on the road or not :/ Then doing 90s I felt more insecure. And then the crash happened at the silliest of the place. The curve was towards left. If you see the picture of the tyre I uploaded previously, after going over sand, the bike wobbled and the right side skidded. To give an exact picture, his r15 was moving at 45kmph towards left and mine at 30-32kpmh, wobbled and leaned to the other side(right side) before crashing.

After that I rode it under 35kmph for around 20km back home with a bent right clipon, front and rear brake levers and fully shattered visor plus right panel. Everybody was staring at me which was kind of ridiculous :P And yes there was bullet guy following me who eventually helped me get up and pick my bike. He told me he saw me wobble way too much from my rear. And the r15 had exited that curve at went almost 2 or 3 km with good exit speed whom I had to call and ask to come back. And since then I have been wanting to check the alignment and the rear tyre feels like plastic. I had done hard braking on good tarmac before this happened and the bike wobbled and stopped which one of my friends who closely followed noticed and told me.

I follow the factory tyre pressure of front 25 PSI and rear 28 PSI since I ride alone.

Ok. So you have one hell of a serious case. I suggest get the bike checked. The alignment must be wrong. I have rode a number of apache at 90+ speeds but i never felt this type of feeling which you experienced. Yes the r15 is a much better bike. But the way you have experienced it its a bit awkward. Get the bike checked or try any other friends apache. You will get to know whats wrong. Whoah whoah it was a left turn & u fell on right side ? How come.

I know its totally unprecedented. I rode my friend's RTR which is black ABS version again. But nothing like this happened. Did 110kmph confidently.

You're asking me to repeat again? I am still clueless. The bike wobbled and skidded to the right and eventually I fell along with it. And the tyres are feeling gripless since yesterday morning. I am putting the bike to rest for atleast 3 days until I get my works done and take it to SVC.

Juts finished 500+ kms after the rebore.took it to svc for tappet adjustment and wash.replaced the fuel gague as it was leaking also i replaced the engine with SHELL AX7 ADVANCE.i have two questions

1.is it okay to replace engine oil without chaging oil filter??? (last time i didnt do it,probably the reason why engine oil vanished and heance the rebore)
2.IS it possible to change the fuel supply to Fi??? i have seen a Fi kit online(closed loop) which is suitable for bikes below 200CC,it has to be imported.is it possible to use the RTR160Fi Fuel injection kit for the RTR180???

                      1) Good practice is to change the oil filter everytime you change the oil.

                      2) IMO, don't go for such kits. There are many changes that needs to be done and aren't feasible.

Does the bike come with liquid cooling??? did you see any radiator??? TVS must take care of vibrations and make the new bike smooth.

Guys whats your feedback on adding the Fi kit from the RTR160Fi to the RTR180???

No I guess from manager's talks...not clearly visible though. Regarding capacity he told there will be a slight increase.

If no liquid cooling then god help TVS,High revving motor like the RTR needs to be cooled via liquid a simple air cooler wont be enough.
