Could be due to dust in the disc pad, wash once and ride for few km, it should go.

Put the bike on centre stand and rotate the rear wheel slowly and observe from where the noise is coming. Maybe something is getting rubbed against each other.
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.

Seems like brake pads are being in contact with the disc...

I heard that it starts from 4k and ends at 8k rpm.
I also heard that people are claiming their RTR180 is faster than P220 in initial but it is because the lowend torque.
Try out a wheelie on a Pulsar and an Apache, the Apache will wheelie with lesser effort than Pulsar.
Just leave the clutch and wheelie will pop.
And IMO, the RTRs has the feel and fun of 2-strokes!!!

The above quote is a reply of mine in another thread.
Actually, I've driven the apache for well over 2000kms when my brother's bike was with me. I did try to rev it and found it to be most eager and optimal at 6k-9k rpm. The initial output may be due to lower kerb weight but i did feel the flat out acceleration in 5th gear was best at 6-9k rpm where it lies between its torque and power band. But it could be true that actual power band could be below that but this is what I experienced.

I am using Michelin pilot sporty front tyre. Its much better than stock but nothing great, nothing exceptional. After 21k km with the tyre, it still looks good for another 5k km. Beginning to loose grip post 20k though the treads look good.
You would be better off with r15v2 front tyre, which is the best in the particular size.

Thanks but what about rear one?

I don't think the rear one will be much different from the front pilot sporty in terms of grip.
At the moment the only viable option for rtrs in stock size are mrfs.

How much did the michelin front tyre cost you ?? How does it fare with the MRF zapper fs ? Am in a dilemma to choose michelin or mrf this time for the tyre change. Iam happy with zapper vyde for the rear .

What do you mean 130/80 would be over doing it? Would it cause More Harm(Sprocket Loading & Decrease in Mileage) than good(Better grip, and wider contact Area)?
By the way, how is the 120/80 on the stock rim? Do you have to run at a lower PSI to keep the contact area the same?

130/80 needs the chain cover to be removed ,and yes ! It would be of more weight leading to the sprockets gettin damaged soon. No idea if the mileage would drop but logically it would.120/80 on the stock rim is more or less like the stock tyres only ,I run it at 38psi but 35psi would be the right level . additionally , I might be wrong but in 120/80, the 80 refers to the ratio of the tyre height corresponding to the width of the tyre. So in that case the contact area of both the tyres(110/80 and 120/80) should more or less be similar only (experts please correct me if I am wrong).

Are there any other mods you've done?
I Hear that Exhausts Reduce some of the vibes.

BTW has anyone tried adjusting the footpegs? I' 6'2" and the bike is sort of Cramped as of now.
The pillion foot pegs Seem okay

Just the usual, i have fitted a dual ring projector, have the blue heart mod in my scoops, hazard lamps and k&n fitted wid an upjetted main jet. Exhaust does reduce vibs but needs to be fit in a perfect manner else you would get backfires plus while touring its a pain to the ears , to some people its music though :P . AFAIK you cannot adjust the footpegs to a different position .
