Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
Ya right, Its really the best idea to sell the bike for Punctured tires... I really appreciate the decision of sell off the bikes if one doesnt bother to take care of it.... Hope it land with a more passionate and responsible person who deserves the bike more.Originally posted by srinath2494 View PostIts time to change the bikeHH Dawn - TVS Star City - Yamaha Gladiator - TVS RTR 180 - Honda CBR 250R - Yamaha R3

Few probable causes for tyre leaks':Originally posted by hemnath View PostMy RTR 160 2013 model is experiencing 5-8 psi of air leakage in both rear and front Stock tyres. What could be issue. Is it a puncture or any other issue. Because of this i have to fill the air daily.... Please guide me.. By the way i have clocked around 27000 kms.
1) punctures/ micro punctures where the air leaks out rapidly in former whilst slower in the latter.
2) very minute rim bend (happened with my bike)
3) tyre valves require changing as pointed by fellow members above.
Please try these methods and let us know if the problem solves.
PS the tyres seemed to have run through their treads by now. Best to get them replaced both.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
Hello,
I was going through the manual for handlebar adjustments. It is only given that it can be adjusted and for that SVC would help. I want to know what the actual adjustment would look like or result in. Has anyone adjusted their clip ons? Please post some pics of the adjusted handlebars if possible.
Thanks.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
Oh okay. But the search option directs me to ownership experiences and also to threads with RTR in tourer and what bike sections. I'll find out somehow, thanks.Originally posted by Abishek94 View PostHope you have gone through the thread, has been done before and pics were posted on this thread. Please use the search button

Yes there was a puncture in my rear tyre, and the puncture has happened very next to area, which was already punctured.Originally posted by anand roy View PostFew probable causes for tyre leaks':

The guy in the tyre shop has fixed it, but still i am loosing air around 5-8 psi. I dont have any option other than replacing the tyre. By the way the tyre is very good condition, and it hasn't weared out. Do you guys have any others solutions.
If i have to replace to the tyre, i want to retain the same stock size, which tyre should i go for. I have shortlisted zapper c (110/80) and TVS REMORA 110/80.Last edited by hemnath; 04-11-2015, 01:35 PM.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
You have two option, I suppose its a tubeless variant, You could opt for a inner tube which would eliminate your issue.Originally posted by hemnath View PostYes there was a puncture in my rear tyre, and the puncture has happened very next to area, which was already punctured.

Or You could mend the Tyre from inside. (less probable)
How long (KM) did you ran already on that !
