Sure, but for that you may have to check TNT 300 Ownership thread.

The stock oil is no good for highway runs. It looses its viscosity. Get the free service done & tell them not to change the oil. Just do the normal check up & chain lube. Meanwhile You buy the tvs oil filter(available in the store department of the showroom) & the shell advance ax7 10w40 & get these 2 changed from a trusted mechanic outside of the svc.
Shell ax7 will make the bike run cooler & a lot smoother too.

Recently changed my front disc pistons ,and the oil pump from the disc oil reservoir , the diaphragm like rubber near the oil reservoir does not seem to be pumping back to it original position when I hit the brake and leave it and the lever stays close to the handlebar. After 5-10 minutes it seems to come back to its original position. Any ideas on what could be the issue and how to fix it ?
P.S. brake pistons are new and the components inside the reservoir such as the oil pump are new .

Got it for around 230-250 bucks if I remember correctly .

Wow! Really?

Just dropped my 160 in for service today, and since I'm usually aware of what is wrong with my bike, I tell them all the problems. There's this "test rider" they have over there that takes our bikes out for a small spin down the road, and comes back and tells the mechanic all the things wrong with the bike.

My sprocket was bent, that much I was sure of when doing regular maintenance myself. But I had a slight niggle of doubt about the clutch plate. So the guy took it out for a spin. Max RPM changes then a couple of turns and he was back. He told the mechanic, "Put in clutch plate, sprocket and fork vibration." Then he also added brake fluid and new bush for the back.

These guys are really good. I take the RTR in for small things before the actual service; stuff I can't fix at home myself. Like when I can't tighten the chain, I just pop by there, they do it in a couple of minutes and give. This SVCs speciality is for great service of RTRs. I have known 3 or 4 RTRs that had been in really really bad crashes and when they were done with the service or rebuild, it was as good as new!

My experience for the first service was also similar. Not just the oil change, grease the chain and stuff...

Hearty congratulations shahbaz63, once people hear its (TNT) exhaust note, they make a new box & tick it. Chris2292, some time back I had changed the piston kit (the one on the handle below the reservoir) & had to bleed the system with brake oil top up after that. andy0104, TVS tru4 synthetic oil is a good oil. Performs well till 2500km (highway use). Costs around Rs 525 for 1L & Rs 38 for oil filter.

I bled out the whole brake oil and put in new oil ,and re-bled it again ,this problem persists after changing the new piston kit only :-\

But the SVC guys told me that if I don't do the oil change from them, my warranty stands cancelled. I guess it depends from SVC to SVC. I will check this with some other SVC in my area if I can bring the engine oil on my own during service.

Then I guess it will suit me best as I do not ride my bike daily, mostly on the weekends only and that too on the highways. And I like revving my bike. I like riding fast (but only on the open highways).

Oh thats just crap talk. Just tell them not to change the oil. Give them lame excuses like its not required , my vehicle isnt running much etc. Just dont tell them you are changing it from the outside.
You can either buy the fully synthetic tvs tru4 for 525 bucks or the shell ax7 semi synthetic for 400 bucks.
We all believe shell is a better product than the tru4 & cheaper than the fully synthetic one. What they put in you bike presently is the semi synthetic tvs tru4 which costs around 260 rs.
